Four years ago, we took a leap of faith. Moving to the east coast was hard enough without having a chance to say goodbye to Eric... The guy I met only 6 months prior. While we talked about potentially breaking up because long distance seemed impossible, both of us couldn’t ignore the fact that our love was overwhelmingly strong.The last four years of long-distance was anything but easy, but both of us knew that we could make it work... someway, somehow. ⁣

This past May we both graduated. It signaled that our long distance chapter was coming to an end. That moment was something that we have been looking forward to every single day. Every day going to bed alone, thinking about one another, FaceTiming every night. ⁣

Hey bud, remember that time we met? You were already a college graduate in the career of your dreams. I was living a lifestyle that would make 1980's Ozzy Osbourne second guess his life choices. ⁣

I showed you my unfiltered self, no lies like the rest of the people in my life... all because I knew that our grindr hookup would be as short lived as the last.⁣

Wading through the pool of s**t I had made of my life at the time (and believe me...it took an expert to make it out alive everyday) wasn't for the timid... or the successful, for that matter. ⁣

I scared myself at times. Did you ever want to run? Because I never remember a time that I thought for even a moment that you weren't gonna have my back. I will always remember each time I let you in a little further, fully expecting you to head for the hills (although I did filter the bad stories in slowly, once I fell hard🤣). Instead I was met with the love and acceptance that I wasn't even able to show myself.⁣

I've said it a thousand times and I'll say a thousand times more. YOU SAVED MY LIFE JUSTIN. On top of that, you were the first and only person to ever shine a light on any sort of future that I would work myself to death for. 👨‍❤️‍👨:
