Last year as a joke I planned three watermelon plants. One died and one didn't fruit. The one that survived gave me the best watermelon I've ever tasted.

This year I am going full tilt. I can't wait to eat this! I think that's what I want to do with life. Grow fruits and write books. What was I trying to chase before?

"To have you, to live a life time in your love, to watch you fade and never come back—is that luck? Bad or good, I am still pondering. The heart aches, but I must go on"

Sometimes I get thoughts that stick a little more than others. Today, after cleaning the house, the phrase 'The woman I lost' got stuck in my head. And this immense sense of sadness enveloped me. So I decided to pursue it, and this is what I came up with.

Is loss what makes us who we are? I've lost so many people in my life. I too have been lost to me from time to time. Jamie Anderson said that grief is love with no place to go. Whether it's your lover, parent, sibling, or friend, grief feels the same
