This is 35! Thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and love! I feel so grateful and blessed to have so many amazing people in my life! The older I get, the more I realize that it’s not necessarily the days in your life that matter, it’s the life in your days. Not every day is going to be “the best day ever”. And that’s okay because even those days are important. The gift from God is life itself.. the mountains, valleys, love, grief, hope, joy.

Successfully completed my first half marathon and had some Russell’s 13 to celebrate (13.1). It was a very warm day, which made a difficult race even more challenging. On Memorial Day, I did the BolderBoulder 10K (6.2 miles). I spent 4-5 mins during mile 3ish throwing up and still managed to finish the race and even did it in 1:07 ish. I love being challenged! I live by “if it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you.” Anyhow, I’ve been earning my bourbon. 🥃 😊

We picked an INSANE barrel at ! We found an amazing barrel that we would’ve never expected to pick! It is a 130 plus proof Light Whiskey finished in a maple barrel. YES, shocker! It’s a VERY subtle maple finish. The whiskey shines through! The whiskey was finished in a maple barrel that originally held Elijah Craig 18. It’s very good!!! We had the best time on our short trip to Nashville! One of our favorite stops was at ! We had an absolute blast! Can’t wait to go back the next time we visit! The hospitality, kindness and knowledge we were shown while we were there was above and beyond great! And the whiskey was the icing on top!
