Meet Oreo!
Oreo is a 1.5 year old sweet loyal boy who is going to make someone very happy. He is a velcro dog that loves his person. He sits at my feet when I work all day and follows me around the apartment. Oreo is a playful Lab pup but has a very mellow disposition. He loves to play with other dogs and people. He is more of a take a toy and hide it Lab then a fetcher. He is built like a small pocket English Lab. Oreo is an extremely smart pup who remembers everything and picks up on commands quickly. He is house broken and crate trained; however, do not be surprised if he prefers to sleep on top of you - he is a cuddle bug. He knows to chew his nylon toys and not household items. He is a well mannered boy who would do very well with a back yard and a buddy for play time. I can see him as a solo dog with an owner who has the time to play with him or in a house hold with another young dog. He is small in stature weighing in around 45 lbs so I would not put him with a super big companion dog. He loves to play with the neighbor’s Frenchie down the hall and they are now talking though the apartment door. Lil boy black just wants to be loved and find a loving family.
If you are looking for a smart, lovable, loyal companion… Oreo is your boy.

In our "Living With Art" feature, ISLAND contributing editor Jillian Whitaker brings the brilliant, cut paper sculptures of Christina Lihan to our attention. Lihan's works are as small as a foot across to installations that can be described as nothing less than monolithic in scale.
