We have been rather quiet lately. To be honest, we all just have lots of things going on and we feel we have said mostly what needed to be said anyway. I also have slacked on staying up on YouTube comments, and I'm so sad I missed this gem when it was posted! But I thought I'd share here, since I think it's rather hilarious! Signed, "the girl" 🤣 🤣

Our friend Scot Loyd recently debated a man who holds to the UPCI's beliefs on three step salvation. I wanted to share because I think it's a perfect representation of how much circular logic and bending pieces of the Bible together goes into UPCI theology.
The man representing the UPCI's stance is a perfect example to me of all of the UPCI people (laymen) I have ever spoken to of these things. He tries to say his version of the Gospel is simple, however, it's crystal clear in this debate, it is much more convoluted and difficult to understand than the actual "good news".
Scot does a great job with witty, meaningful comebacks that keeps this interesting to watch. While I respect those in the UPCI, and love them dearly, I think this discussion is a perfect example of the flawed doctrine of three step salvation.

I hope those of you who follow this page if you know anything about me at all, know that I try to be as straightforward and honest as possible with my shortcomings and emotions. So here is my crazy for the day, and it works to your benefit!
I had visions of what I wanted the release of my second book to look like. The professional exciting post, sending copies to those who contributed before it was officially released, etc. However, sometimes life happens, and I think God has a sense of humor, so here we are! I am embracing this moment, it is what it is.
Because I made a silly blunder, Amazon published it and made it live before I even got the chance to proof the copies myself!! This means YOU CAN ORDER IT NOW!
Some of you may have the opportunity to own the "first edition" copies and if changes are needed to formatting, I will make them next week!
I appreciate all of the love and support I have received over the last four years, so really, this is more like sharing my heart with family, and not pre-releasing a book before I was prepared!

The church is not supposed to be a place for our judgment and deciding who is worthy of our love.
The church is here to show love, grace, and mercy to EVERYONE!
You can have your personal beliefs, and you should, but if you are a true Christ follower you are called to help those in need.
