One of the biggest reasons of making friends before the contest ends and after the contest ends is to continue our love for horror beyond the contest and maybe eventually work together in the future for indie horror film productions I’m working on and other horror related projects.
So while I understand everyone wants to continue posting about the Face of Horror contest and sharing their links, which is cool, just don’t DM or message me with the links because I’m gonna be super busy with The HorrorNerd Experience podcast, doctor’s appointments, resuming indie horror film productions, surgeries, townhouse/stream room renovations, working on new videos and been ridiculously busy with the Countdown to the Ultimate HorrorNerd Experience Fest, since the actual online fest event is scheduled on Halloween on Twitch.
There’s even plans for next year and the year after that to finally start reaching out to venues to book the Ultimate HorrorNerd Experience Fest to become an annual horror-themed festival event with panel discussions, guest appearances, interviews, some podcast episodes being filmed in advance or recorded live, and even getting a larger crew from my studio soon to help livestream the Ultimate HorrorNerd Experience Fest itself while doing the countdown series every year from the 1st to 31st during spooky season, featuring great horror games, horror movies and more on Twitch/Discord, etc.
I have bigger plans for everyone and for my company, and for my projects so that’s one of the biggest reasons for us to be friends outside the Face of Horror contest: to collaborate together in the future and to remain friends while continuing to share our love for horror.

It’s official! I’m being eliminated tonight. Been a honor and a privilege.
I’ll be announcing new ways for everyone to stay in touch with me, support my indie horror films, my horror art/poetry/comedy/photography, etc., my horror podcast, my horror gaming stream channel, my YouTube channel, my official website, my Throne wishlist, etc.

Unless some people vote for me to try to get me into 2nd place tonight or 1st place, I’m being eliminated. 2-for-1 votes are back and I need all my true friends and a wonderful community to show up as much as possible.
With 2nd place, I have a chance to fight again in the Re-Animator round. With 1st place, I skip the Re-Animator round altogether.
I want to be able to say, “FIRST EVER DEAFBLIND autistic nonbinary trans woman to ever win the Face of Horror contest!” And I listed the reasons I wanted to win earlier in previous videos and posts, so I’ll give you a brief summary:
1. My state of Vermont had a really bad flood earlier this summer and it took a LONG TIME to rebuild and to renovate my townhouse and my stream room, etc.
2. The $13,000, while it’d help me rebuild, will also put some of the money towards a few indie horror films I am working on, plus pay off some debts and leftover funds are going to donate to a wonderful pediatric cancer charity.
3. I wanted to make history (herstory) as the FIRST EVER DEAFBLIND autistic nonbinary trans woman and it’d bring wonderful representation and excellent exposure to my communities that I represent and am a part of, to prove that we deaf, deafblind, autistic/neurodivergent and nonbinary/trans can do anything that cisgender/able-bodied/non-disabled people can do, but better and prove we can do great things for the world too.
4. I wanted to do this because I am a two time cancer survivor (once as a pediatric cancer survivor and again in 2018 as an adult), so this is a very passionate cause for me.
5. A lot of my friends want to see me win, and they think it’d be something that can definitely make good things happen for our communities and I can promise you that if and when I win the contest, especially with the video I’m making for Kane’s Pick, I’ll see if there’s a way we can improve the voting system for next year so that everyone can free vote for the first five rounds, then do free votes and combine with paid donation votes for next year’s contest. Which means I will do my absolute best as YOUR Face of Horror to advocate for the entire horror community to change the way we do voting in the early rounds.

I just noticed that if and when I get eliminated, I’ve been truly humbled and happy and blessed because the Face of Horror contest gave me a chance to really get very creative and do things that I never got to do before and it even got me as far as to make a horror short film for the contest. That film was gonna be perfect for Kane. Now I realize I was really meant to be a horror content creator/gamer/streamer/filmmaker/artist/writer/poet/comedian/podcaster/actress/producer/screenwriter/director, etc. in the horror community. It solidifies my love for horror and the ability to do what I love doing. So I am going to be revealing the horror short film on YouTube, and showcase my love for this community, its industry, all of it.
I’m back, better than ever and I finally belong in the horror community/genre, etc.
Thank you, Face of Horror and a special thank you to Kane Hodder for truly inspiring me to do this because this was what I was meant to do for my entire life. Horror will now forever be my life’s works.

Just an heads up that I MADE IT to the Top Five at number two!

After 15-plus years being a variety streamer/content creator on Twitch (BEFORE IT WAS EVEN TWITCH! Remember Justin.tv, y’all?), and having been on Facebook Gaming, Trovo, Glimesh, and hell even MIXER, I have officially done my final last stream on Twitch and moving the main channel to full time!
Not only I’ll do gaming livestreams, but standup comedy, cooking/art/writing/creative streams and some other fun stuff will come along with me, and I’ll still continue to make videos, YouTube Shorts and post on the Community Tab of my channel!
While L.K. the HorrorNerd is still on Twitch, it will not move full time to YouTube until it gets closer to the 500 subscribers it needs before making the move then I’ll go full time on both YouTube channels in the future. Until then, I’m running things on one YouTube channel, and still livestreaming on my HorrorNerd Twitch channel while exporting all VODs to the HorrorNerd YouTube channel.

Voting for me to become the next Face of Horror is a great thing for the following reasons:
One: I’m a huge lifelong horror fan and also have been a horror content creator, horror comedian, horror writer/poet, horror artist, horror photographer/model, horror gamer/streamer and a indie horror filmmaker/producer/actress/screenwriter/director trying to get my work out there for a while now but with the pandemic and then the strikes that’s been happening recently (I’m a WGA/SAG-AFTRA/DGA member), it’s been rough. I’m also a horror film/movie/TV show/shop/product/game/literature reviewer and podcaster as well. My love for horror runs deep, and I feel that I would be a good fit for the contest.
Secondly, the $13,000 would help a lot with the townhouse/stream room renovations, due to the fact that we as a community where I live in Vermont had a pretty bad flood earlier this summer back in July and it took a really long time to rebuild and it’s not even finished yet, getting the disability equipment I need along with a service animal dog due to my disabilities and health issues deteriorating recently and giving some of the money to a charity of my choosing and helping with paying off only two credit cards, and I’d be able to afford to get at least one of my indie horror film projects up and going and have it ready to start working on it in 2024 (if the strikes is over by then).
Three, not only winning this contest would be huge for me, but it’d be huge for the communities that I represent, because this would mean that I would officially be the FIRST EVER DEAFBLIND, NEURODIVERGENT AND AUTISTIC NONBINARY TRANS woman (yes, I’ve had surgeries and whatnot, stop asking questions — it’s getting annoying lol) to ever compete in this contest and hopefully win the whole thing! That means I would literally be making HISTORY (well, in my case, HERSTORY) so my communities would be very happy about this if I won and I could very well be a excellent role model for all involved, and most importantly, there’s gonna be several media outlets involved that’ll be writing about me or interviewing me if they found out about me and knew that I’d be making history (HERSTORY) and attempt to do something that no one has ever done before in this contest.
Four, if I win, which I’m hoping to, based on my status and rankings, etc., I’d like to be able to make a difference and help plan and assist for next year’s contest and maybe even offer some input to help improve the way the voting system is set up, and also suggest some great ideas to the people running the contest to allow past winners and runner-ups to collaborate with contestants and give advice/suggestions and make fun/silly/terrifyingly awesome videos to help them succeed in the contest as well. That would be cool.
And finally, I’m a former cancer survivor (TWICE) and I have survived a lot of real life horrors that I’ve been to therapy for and I’m very passionate about the B+ Foundation that the Face of Horror Contest is supporting and promoting, so I’m hoping that by asking for your votes, you’ll eventually get me to where I need to be over the next few rounds and I would be happy to proudly represent the various communities that I’m a part of, including the horror community, doing you all proud and supporting such an amazing cause.
P.S., I intend to not just upload new photos every round (mostly in the beginning and towards the end of each round), but I intend to create a lot of fun, entertaining and horrifyingly excellent videos on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Threads and YouTube in the beginning of each round and the last one or two days of each round to not just encourage votes, but to entertain, make you laugh/scream/cry/jump/smile and enjoy the show along the way.

"The Last Scream" (begins October 27th and ends November 2nd) – The top one (1) Competitor from each "The Living Dead" group will be divided into "The Last Scream" groups. Votes will be reset, and public voting will determine the top one (1) Competitor from each group who will then advance to the "Final Cut".
The "Final Cut" (begins November 3rd and ends November 9th) – Votes will be reset, and public voting will determine which Competitor will be the winner of the 2023 Face of Horror Competition (the “Public Choice Grand Prize Winner”), on November 9, 2023. The Public Choice Grand Prize Winner will be announced on or around November 17, 2023.
And I’ll even sweeten the pot: if I win and become the FIRST EVER to win the contest and so forth, I’m allowed to choose a guest, so I will announce who will be my guest to go with me to the Kane Hodder Experience photo shoot (which is 100% completely paid for) and have a fun time with me in Hollywood!

For a while now, my health and disabilities has been deteriorating, and I wanted to compete to win so that the $13,000 would help me a lot with getting the disability equipment I need, a service animal dog and finally finish the townhouse/stream room renovation process since we had the #vermontflood2023 earlier this summer back in July, and yes, I’d be giving away some of the $13,000 to a charity of my choosing (and I have a idea of who I wanna donate to), so your votes would mean a lot to me.
