“I’ve had days during this whole lockdown of not really doing anything at all. I think, sometimes, we put a bit too much pressure on ourselves to be productive and be able to tick things off all the time.
If you’ve having days where you don’t feel like doing much or you just want to just relax then that’s absolutely fine too. But if you feel like doing something creative and productive or taking a look at that list that you’ve created and start ticking things off it’s such an amazing thing and getting the ball rolling is the hardest part. To actually start doing these things because once you start doing them and feel the benefits of them, wether it’s, you want to start painting and you feel the benefit of being creative and kind of switching off from the world for that period of time. Or you want to plant a vegetable patch and you feel the benefits of spending time outside.” 🌱
In episode nine we chat about ways to nourish the soul during lockdown. As Meg says, pending time resting or being creative and productive are wonderful ways to spend this time we have been gifted. Listen to the full episode available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and everywhere you find podcasts 🎧
