Today’s PSM Interview guest is Danielle Ceruti Founder of
She is a Latina gardening activist, educator, and mom who has dedicated her career to destigmatizing 🍃 and promoting its medicinal benefits, within the Latinx community.
We discuss how she used 🍃 to treat her son, who was diagnosed on the autism spectrum, while she herself was managing PTSD and fibromyalgia. Danielle played a key role in helping pass legislation to include autism as a treatable condition with 🍃 and has worked closely with organizations like Healthy Choices Unlimited and The Realm of Caring to support patients.

We are at Interview 8 of the Pot Smoking Moms Interview series and we are throwing it back to that Doctor Mike episode from 4 years ago! Early in our podcast days, only 23 episodes in, and in the middle of a global pandemic.
Dr. Michael J. McKenzie is a family medicine doctor in Hallandale Beach, Florida that has been in practice for more than 20 years. He has expertise in treating chronic diabetes, obesity, chronic high blood pressure, and he also specializes in cannabis care. We speak with Dr. Mike about the endocannabinoid system, legislation of recreational cannabis and the FDA process.
We hope you enjoy this oldie but goodie. Please excuse the sound. We were just getting use to recording on Zoom instead of together in the studio. There are a few connection issues and Dee sounds like she is in a submarine.

This week have a great PSM Interview episode! We speak with Liz Thompson a PhD candidate working on a clinical trial funded by the NFL to examine reducing neuroinflammation, concussion and pain with cannabinoid molecules. Liz has a MSc in physiology and BSc in microbiology & genetics. She is currently gathering data from pro and NCAA athletes and their medical training staff on their knowledge, opinions and perspectives on cannabinoid therapeutics in contact sports. We discuss the clinical trial for the NFL as well as some possible benefits of cannabis aiding in training and recovery in athletics.
