‼️ Container Markings ‼️

✅ Identification number
Consists of:
- Owner Prefix (first three letters) and Equipment category identifier (fourth letter)
- Serial Number (Six Digits) + Check Digit (7th digit in a box)

✅ Size and Type
- The first character is related to the length of the container
2 - 20 Feet
4 - 40 Feet

- The second character is relative to its height
2 - 8 Feet 6 Inches
5 - 9 Feet 6 Inches "High Cube"

- The remaining two elements of the sequence identify the container type and characteristics

G1 - General Purpose Container
R1 - Refrigerated Container
U1 - Open Top Container
P1 - Platform Container
T1 - Tank Container

✅ Maximum gross weight
- The maximum total safe weight, taking into account the tare weight and the net weight

✅ Tare Weight
- The weight of the container when empty

✅ Net Weight/Maximum Payload
- Allowable safe weight of goods to be loaded inside the container

✅ Cubic Capacity

✅ High Cube Warning

✅ Owner’s Logo

✅ Classification Society Mark

✅ Combined Data Plate

✅ Manufacturer’s Logo

‼️ Inspection of Fire Extinguishers ‼️

✅ Make sure to remove any obstructions if there are any

✅ IMO symbol should correspond to the extinguisher

✅ Instruction Labels should be clear

✅ Ensure Safety Pin and Seal are in place

✅ Check pressure in gauge (Green in good condition, red need to recharge)

✅ Check for any dents, corrosion or signs of damages to the extinguisher

✅ Check Hose and Nozzle for any damages or obstructions

✅ Check condition of Mounting Bracket and Securing Straps

➡️ Once all conditions are good, put the date of inspection and remarks
