We are currently looking to expand our catalog and seeking sync-ready, original music that can be used in various forms of media including TV, film, video games, and advertisements. We welcome submissions of both full songs and instrumental-only productions across all genres. We believe in quality over quantity!
To be considered for our catalog, the music must meet the following criteria (send to [email protected]):
* Tempo: We are looking for music with a tempo range of 80-130 BPM as this is the most common tempo for sync licensing.
* Themes: The music should have themes that are universal and relatable. We also ask that the music is NOT explicit (if so, you have an alternate version with clean, sync friendly lyrics—bleeping out the “bad words” will not work.) Examples of song themes that do well in sync include love, heartbreak, triumph, loss, style/fashion, partying, money, sports, family, holidays, hope and more! We are open to all genres but the themes should be appropriate for sync licensing and the above is just an example of where to start.
* Length: For full songs, we are looking for music that is 1:30-2:30 minutes (3 max) in length. For instrumental-only productions, we prefer tracks that are 1-2:30 minutes in length.
* Quality: The music must be of high quality and professionally produced. This means that the recording, mixing, and mastering should be top-notch to ensure that the music sounds great in any context.
* Song Title: The song title should include the artist/producer name, song title, and date.
* Intellectual Property: The music submitted should be the intellectual property of the submitter and not be under any prior agreements or licensing through other parties. You must be the copyright owner or have the express written and legal consent to act as a representative for the copyright owner.
We are excited to hear your submissions and potentially add your music to our catalog. Please ensure that all submissions include the necessary metadata including the tempo, themes, lyric sheet (if applicable), length, and genre of the music. Please also submit no more than 3 tracks (do not spam with multiple email submissions as our team works on a first in, first out queue). If your music meets the above criteria, we'd love to hear it!
**Please note this is a submission for consideration of sync representation via SyncShark and is not a submission for any ongoing briefs. Artists/Producers selected for the next step of the process will be informed directly by our team. SyncShark will not submit your music for sync without prior written consent. Do not submit music that has been commercially released. If selected we may ask for revisions, alternate versions and individual raw files.
