A Middle (Wo)man & A Ho**ah Lounge
Seriously. That pretty much sums up how they met. Cassandra and Eboni shared a mutual friend from very different corners of the world - one met said friend while traipsing the streets of Chocolate City and the other met her while auditioning for Ms. Black & Gold on Chapel Hill, NC.
It was this shared connection that brought these two together one random night at a Ho**ah Lounge in historic Ybor City, FL. Cassandra had just gotten her feet wet in her new city of Tampa but was on the lookout for some gal pals to be mischievous with. Eboni was testing the waters of her potentially new home while also paying her man (may he rest in single-dom) a visit. The rest is hilarious history.
What brought on this idea to give the public an inside look into their opinions, experiences, and completely unqualified take on life? A friend. Again. See, Cassandra and Eboni share an avid love of and respect for friends that harbor an entrepreneurial spirit. And they both know many a person that has taken that leap of faith into an endeavor that he/she is passionate about. Their producer of this podcast, Pretty Good Girls, is not only a great friend but also has an amazing talent for audio production and editing. One producer...two girls navigating their 30’s and 40’s in Tampa...and one helluva time coming up with a solid name, and this podcast was off and running.
Tune in to two women on two very different paths. One is single, one is taken. One is a parent, one has pets. One works a corporate gig, one is a freelancer. Two friends. One city. Zero qualifications.
