Filmmaking is not an easy something to do , the process of going to the top is the hardest so is every other organization…
Dear upcomers , aspiring actors , prospective filmmakers and the wannabes , don’t chat people u see on social media posting their picture with a celebrity and maybe with a camera and u assumed that they are all film makers and that they can help u, u will end up being scam or being used or being taken advantage off , real film makers will not reply ur messages because they know u re not what they want , real directors and producers have their cast already mapped out and target crews when ever they want to film , unless otherwise that is when they will create awareness that they are looking for some actors , and this opportunity too is not for u that is just an imagination actor , because no director will want to waste or spend their money and time over u that don’t know ur left or right in nollywood , first go to trainings , enroll in film school, learn about film making . Go to auditions , from there u will learn a lot about this field u re going to . So u will know the importance of checking track record of any filmmaker that is inviting for any movie shoot . Most of they so called filmmakers , just go to people set and take pictures and come online to scam people . Don’t be a victim , go and learn about filmmaking , then u dive into the nollywood with a skill , learn continuity, makeup, costuming etc , u can start from being a PA to any of the above mention crew . Stop chatting people for help , me, myself I can’t help u . And I won’t , I am still learning everyday and still growing . Go and learn , enrich urself , add value to urself so u will not be seen as a trash.
Filmmaking is a business , producers invest to make more gain , so they won’t want to jeopardize that with u . Go for training!!!!!!
