Not waiting for the big, highly paid job to fall on your lap.

Not just dreaming.

But getting something out into the world to show what you want to show.

🖌 STOP PAINTING PEOPLE WITH THE SAME BRUSH!

Ryan Pyle is bang on here.

We've got to stop judging people by the actions of their government.

There are so many people who suffer because their government has a poor reputation internationally. They lose out on tourist income and have their reputation destroyed through no doing of their own.

Whether planning your next trip, or just having a conversation it's so important to remember:

- The media paints a picture of some countries that fits a narrative, it isn't necessarily reality.

- Not everyone in a country supports their oppressive government, chances are its the opposite.

- Not everywhere in the Middle East is dangerous.

- Not all Americans voted for Trump.

- Most people in any country would be happy to get to know you.

⭐ APPRECIATING YOUR SURROUNDINGS IN TIMES LIKE THESE ⭐

Loved that Ryan brought this topic up.

I've heard so many people get frustrated recently about the fact they wish they were somewhere else - myself included.

"I need a holiday."

"I need some sun."

"There's nothing to do."

It's so easy to get depressed when you're stationary.

Now that lockdown has eased slightly we have the opportunity to explore parts of our country we've never done before.

Sure, it might not be Hawaii. 🏖️

But it's better than sitting inside feeling sorry for yourself.

Climb a nearby mountain ⛰️ Explore a local park 🌴 Go help someone in need 🤝 Learn a new skill 🎻

There is always something you're not doing that could improve your day.

Ragnar Axelsson shares the lessons he has learnt from over 40 years of photographing people living in the most extreme Arctic conditions.

He also dives deeper into where he's seen the effects of climate change being felt the most, with melting sea ice causing problems for people all over the Arctic Circle.
