Throwback Thursday to a successful Holiday event launch from 2023 for our client Oshawa Centre!

The GG Media Group brought the Gingerbread Village to life at Oshawa Centre.

From decor to event staffing, graphic design, capturing the moments on video and photography, and collaborating with retailers, media, and influencers—we did it all and helped raise funds for Lakeridge Health Foundation.

How do you hack Social Media Algorithm?

We get a lot of questions and see the same message all the time. How can we hack the algorithm? Well guess what, there is a way and some may not like the answer. It involves hard work and consistency. So roll up your sleeves and let’s begin.⁣

1. Post consistently⁣
2. Use all of the features available to you: feed posts, feed videos, stories, Live⁣
3. Share your follower’s content⁣
4. Engage with your followers⁣
5. Understand your analytics⁣

⁣Consistently put in the work everyday with these tips and there will be no need to hack the algorithm. You’ll be working with the way the algorithm was designed. It won’t happen overnight, but it will happen.

Why your last 15 Instagram posts are important

1. If your last 15 posts have NOTHING to do with what’s in your bio, why would someone follow you?

2. 15 is the number of squares someone sees when they land on your profile. Some say 12 but we like to say 15.

3. OUR BIGGEST TIP especially when we work with clients launching a new account and new biz. DO NOT LAUNCH YOUR NEW Instagram account with 1 post. Always launch with at least 15 posts, so people can get a a taste of what they can expect on the feed. One post isn’t going to make them hit the follow button. Show them them what VALUE they are getting.

HOMEWORK: Audit your last 15 posts see if they match what your bio says about your biz. If not, it's time to get to work.

Guests enjoyed live music, free popsicles, refreshing lemonade, and fun games like cornhole and giant Jenga, all designed to match the theme.
