In East these are our own priorities for the next 4 years for the estate. These are what we would like to concentrate on in East should you elect us on May 4th.
1. To develop a Clifton wide programme of pavement & road resurfacing and to continue to fill potholes across the estate.
2. Reduce anti-social behaviour across the Clifton Estate, by working with the Police, the council's Community Protection Officers and Licensing and Enforcement Teams to address residents' concerns. In particular, work to tackle flytipping and dog fouling hotspots.
3. To maintain and develop playground facilities within Clifton's neighbourhood parks and to offer regular activities for young people.
4. To ensure that we work with the Community, City Council, Health Services, the Police and our Member of Parliament, Lilian Greenwood, to provide joined up services to Clifton residents.
5. Work to introduce a weekly food recycling scheme to contribute to play our part in contributing to Nottingham's goal in becoming a Carbon Neutral City by 2028.
6. To be accessible to Clifton residents by responding to phone calls within 48 hours, undertaking ward walks and holding regular surgery's in the heart of the community.
