Finding ground in Ghent, a small yet creative and lively town in Belgium, Moodfamily runs a record label and booking agency. A particular mood.

Having emerged in 2014, it has sprouted from existing friendships and a mutual understanding and appreciation of electronic music. We represent artists pursuing their own unique sound, be it within their own tracks, visual productions or DJ-sets. Most importantly, the Moodfamily is telling you their story, the fruits of a long and devoted journey. We aim to reach people with our dedication to evoke a certain feeling.

— With many dj’s and musicians in electronic music, their love originated with hip hop. The same is true for Nico Stojan and his rich history since the early nineties. As one of the most influential artists in the Berlin (and worldwide) scene, he helped shape the path of the genre and was a great influence for many new artists. It’s a great honour to have him as a remixer for Moon's Voyager’s EP. His excellent understanding of dance floors allows him to forever push the limit. Efficient, sexy, romantic, powerful without forcing..

The quirkish Turkish returns with a splendid single on Moodfamily. "Gone Tomorrow" - in utter style - once more flawlessly defines his own sound. Lighthearted - but not too much, it comes with a firm grip. The title track fits exactly that, as you settle in for a ride through a landscape of ad libs, synth trickery and an exquisite vocal ... you'll suddenly find yourself facing the teeth of a gnarly grumbling Minimoog... Good Lord, what a journey.

Oh and this is only the first track of the EP.

— We’ve reached the last remix of the Stavroz album. They’ve crafted an excellent tool for early mornings in the club. Dry, sparse, subtle and efficient, the trademark of flieder. — Nestled in groaning synths and smothered in an orchestra of violins, oboes, flutes, ... Joppe seeks for redemption in his new song "Forgive". Actions carry consequences and create a ripple effect. The falling piano notes at the start of the song embody just that. The tumbling from your safe space, sliding to the unknown. Nevertheless Joppe harmonises his tones and words once again on that fine balance between despair and hope. Despair in seeing mistakes, hope for forgiveness.
