It’s now been over a year without justice for
“Be vigilant, lock your doors at night.” PCSO
Erica Wright was like any of us, a mom enjoying a quiet spring night in her Roseville, California home last April 20, 2022.
Out of the darkness, evil came calling.
Someone inside her Livoti Avenue home reported hearing loud banging sounds, as the killer was outside of her home trying to break in.
He succeeded in breaking in (see photo).
Multiple calls were coming in to 911 now, as the sounds of the violent struggle echoed out of her broken window.
Then, suddenly as they began, the sounds abruptly ended.
Neighbors in the area reported seeing a man covered in blood, carrying a baseball bat, leaving the scene of the crime.
Law enforcement arrived moments later, and a massive, hours-long search ensued, including air support, drones and canine units, but to no avail.
Her murderer disappeared into the night.
Although Placer County detectives begged the public for eyewitness sightings, security video, etc., no additional descriptions or tips have led to any arrests or suspect information in this case.
Police have a brief description of a suspect: Male, 5’10”, wearing hoodie.
Neighbors are suspicious of transients and homeless people who recently began walking through the neighborhood after the construction of a transit station.
A mother, she was beloved by her family and friends and described by her employer, a law firm, as a “shining light.”
This case really needs a breakthrough.
There is a violent murderer wandering our streets.
