Today we’re continuing our discussion on Little Shop of Horrors (1986).

Bless the costumes, the lighting, the sound mixing. Bless the chorus, the ensemble, the stars among the cast. Bless Rick Moranis, Ellen Greene, and Levi Stubbs. But most of all, bless the monster fu***rs that made this all possible, especially Howard Ashman and Alan Menken.

Today we’re finishing our discussion on My Bloody Valentine 3D (2009).

Today we’re continuing our discussion on My Bloody Valentine 3D (2009).

This has unintentionally turned into a three-parter, Scholars. There’s just so many details when it comes to a remake in general, let alone this one, that need to be discussed that to try to rush it would diminish the quality of the final product. Also sh****ng on Axel is fun and we want to milk it.

Normalize people not taking over businesses just because it was their parents. Without proper business running skills it’ll likely close anyway. 😌

As a small reminder, the boycott of The C*W is taking place from February 1st-7th. If you watch any of their shows or engage with their social media and would like to send the message that erasing marginalized narratives is wrong, please consider joining us. All you would need to do is skip your show for one week. It would be a tremendous help.

Today we’re discussing My Bloody Valentine 3D (2009).

Due to your Professor having been working with a group of people to address the erasure of minority stories at the CW network, this film was chosen not only for our proximity to the holiday after which it is named, but due to one of the actors that stars in it who used to work for said network.

The film stars Jensen Ackles as Tom Hanniger, Jaime King as Sarah Palmer, and Kerr Smith as Axel Palmer. There are several writing credits which includes: Todd Farms, Zane Smith, John Beaird, and Stephen Miller. It was directed by Patrick Cussier.

Today we’re discussing Gremlins (1984).

To get into the holiday spirit, we decided this family favorite would be an excellent movie to dissect. The film stars Zach Galligan as Billy Peltzer, Phoebe Cates as Kate Beringer, Howie Mandel as Gizmo, Hoty Axton as Rand Peltzer, and Corey Feldman as Pete Fontaine. It was written by Chris Columbus and Directed by Joe Dante.
