Onwards and upwards! :)
I want to say a big thank you to everyone! My beginnings into Tai Chi were unconventional, sometimes frowned upon. However I have continued to learn and grow which is what Tai Chi is all about. This year I've started to make connections that will benefit all the classes and I'm going to be looking forward to taking the classes even deeper and further forward into the depths of traditional Tai chi chuan.
I have just placed my deposit for a seminar in September which will be taught by 5th generation Yang family descendent, Grandmaster Yang Jun which I am MEGA excited about - need to brush up on my 103 form!
(for those that are interested, it also turns out that Ian Sinclair trained with Yang Jun's father!)
I'm still not sure if you'll get to meet Ian Sinclair this year, but I do now plan to at least meet with him and discuss a seminar / workshop for next year - his knowledge of the deeper energy and body mechanics side of Tai Chi is amazing and we can learn a lot from him.
Parkinson's classes in North Walsham are definitely happening, watch this space.
Anyway, I've digressed slightly - the reason for this post is that I still continue to do a lot of courses and CPD courses (continued professional development) to open up other knowledge bases within Chinese and holistic medicine which are connected with Tai Chi and Qigong.
Many of you know I've had to overcome a lot of things and I only really talk about a handful of those issues in the Dhyana Magazine. However, in recognition of this, I'm a finalist for a business award, which I'm most proud of. I'm proud of how far I've come and what the future holds. Most of all, I'm proud of you guys, and I can't thank you enough for your commitment, kind words, giggles and how you all push me to become a better person as well as yourselves. I love hearing how Tai Chi is helping you.
Much love
