Something I'm really proud of this year are the artistic breakthroughs I feel that've been made with my gaming videos in which I attempt to learn how to write, how to tell stories, and how to explore artistic barriers, in hopes of breaking through them. Weekly I get messages whether on my YouTube, my various social media acct's, or while I'm livestreaming, where people say they've been inspired by my content, my story, or by what I say or display in those videos. And that...that has been the goal all along. To get my viewers to look at themselves for something more, to finally scratch that inner itch so many of us have. To make breakthroughs of their own, in their own ways. People alive and dead have deeply inspired me, and still do to this day, and I want to Be That in return. It's even more astounding to see what those breakthroughs look like when they happen for anyone who makes these remarks. These things bring a smile to my face that carries deep down to my bones. As a friend once said, "Call me selfish, but I like making people feel good." That sums it up perfectly. If you effect one person, you inevitably will effect others, if not many others. It took me four decades to come to the realization that first and foremost I am an artist. I may not be the best, I may not be great, but I am an artist nonetheless. Isn't the point of art to inspire others towards change?
