Reading this book was a deeply emotional journey, taking me down memory lane. Every word resonated with the raw, universal feelings of grief. I found myself pausing at certain sentences, re-reading others, shedding tears over some lines, and even smiling at moments. It was a rollercoaster of emotions, and I didn’t want it to end—I was completely engrossed, page after page.

For those who have experienced the loss of a loved one, especially a parent, this book will hit even closer to home.

Tip: Keep a dictionary handy—I relied on the Merriam-Webster dictionary while reading.

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is truly an extraordinary writer. Gosh!!!

A very good read, although I wasn’t so hooked in it BUT, it ended in a “happily ever after” 😊

If there’s one thing I loved about this book, it was the cute, beautiful writeups in each chapter.
