Remaster vinyl of “Holy Diver” by the late, great is 🔥 🔥 fire!

The finale for season 1 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds flipped the script by showing a future where Pike might be a great Captain but he isn’t always the right Captain for all situations.

They did this compare/contrast episode against the TOS classic “Balance of Terror” a classic Cold War style submarine game of cat & mouse set in space.

“Gatekeepers” of Trek will likely pushback against this but I very much enjoyed the episode and exploring the differences/similarities of Pike & Kirk. Also, pay close attention to the lighting of this episode as it pays a strong homage to original episode.

Sooo…I know I’m not winning a popularity contest with this but I like my Moon Knight to be the least popular guy in the room. Because he’s too hardcore for everyone else. This is from Charlie Huston’s run on the book with the great on art and in these panels (set during the OG Marvel Civil War) Captain America makes it clear that he has zero time for Moon Knights madness!

While I hope everyone has enjoyed the 1st episode of on I humbly suggest taking a look at the various volumes of comics available. Writer and an insanely (pun intended) team of artists crafted an immaculate run with the character and something that now has a bit of meta in it as well. Go check it out!

Hey! Finished the final book in series…it’s awesome! Full of all the morality and sacrifice you’ve come to expect from this series! I hope they bring the cast back at some point down the road to make a live action version of the “Laconia” arc!

Little did I know that when I randomly picked this book of the new release shelf at Adventure Comics in Rockville, MD back in 1993 that this was the beginning of some of the best Batman comics EVER. The team of Jeph Loeb and Tim Sale is hard to be and Tim alone is an underrated all-time great Batman artist! Check this out and feel their influence in the new film!
