Over four dozen iterations of the x are expected to surface sometime soon. With no word on a forthcoming release date, the hype has already begun. Billboards have started to spring up in fashion capitals around the world (incl. , , , and ) and sneaker enthusiasts everywhere have taken notice.

Could this be an effort to water down the resell market or add major fuel to the flame?
