is standing in solidarity with .just .614 and —you can follow our stories as we continue to amplify the accounts and stories of student repression at OSU.

Posted • After the intense repression by OSU & the police at the Encampment for Gaza Thursday night, the fight to divest and stop the genocide continues!

The Ohio State University has made their decision. They chose to support genocide and unleash police repression and terror upon their students and community. Their fear of the power of the people is evidenced by their extreme response to this protest.

But we will not stop fighting for Palestine.

We will be back

This special episode of Columbus Can't Wait was recorded just two weeks after the mid-term elections. Now that the dust has settled and the results are in, we know that the house has flipped, Georgia is headed to another runoff, the GOP ran the table in Ohio, Democrats kept the senate, the Red Wave was more like a splash, Pelosi is stepping down and Trump is Running again.

But what does that really mean in the grand scheme of things? On this special edition episode of CCW, we were joined by Morgan Harper and Cam Harris to really break down the election, the Ohio Senate race (Tim Ryan's AND Sherrod Brown's), House Leadership, rising stars in the Ohio Democratic party, Trump 🙃, and alot more.

The election was not a finish line--it was a starting point. There is A LOT of work to do if we are going to keep our democracy. And as always, remember that you either do politics or politics are going to do you.

Join Alpha Phi Alpha Alpha Rho Lambda chapter, ETC by US, Rewriting The Narrative Inc., Columbus Can’t Wait Podcast, the Columbus Urban League of Young Professionals and the Black Men Voting Collective at Marvin’s Lounge for the second Lit Brunch, a non-partisan voting education party reinforcing the importance of casting a vote in every race on the ballot.

Election day is around the corner and some are saying this is one of the most important elections of this generation. We want to make sure that as voters turn out for early voting in late October and early November, that people understand all the parts of the ballot and the urgency of filling it out TOP to BOTTOM.

Learn why it’s critical to complete your ballot from top to bottom, understand what the issues are, know what the candidates stand for and ask all the questions that you need to make sure you are an informed voter by time you hit the ballot box.

If you have an absentee ballot and need help filling it out, you can bring it too and get all of the assistance that you need.

There will be a dj, full brunch menu and specials to order from.

Contact Malcolm White ([email protected]) or Camren Harris ([email protected]) with any questions that you might have.

Happy Martin Luther King Day. Stay committed to his ACTUAL dream and not just the catchy hope-peddling that gets circulated on this day annually.

The fact that this speech remains relevant underscores how you either do politics, or politics do you.

Aluta continua.
