My Last Final Exam Ever. ✨
My Last Day of OD3.
Bring on the externships.
But this also calls for my only patient highlight of the semester:
The man that plans to live to 100
This man has been through a lot...
and how do I know....
because I waited with him for over 30 minutes for him to get his procedure done.
and in that 30 min he told me about his wife, how they met, what school he went to, what job he had, when he started his own business and how successful it was… and I enjoyed every part of it
I didn’t do much for this man
other than listen and he seemed as happy as ever just to tell me all about the life he has lived
that made my night, as simple as it was.
