Kinetic Sculpture at the BMW Museum by ART+COM Studios ART+COM . In a six-square-metre field, 714 metal spheres are suspended from the ceiling on thin steel wires and animated with the help of mechanics, electronics and code. The theme of the installation is the form-finding process in car design, which is performed in a seven-minute choreographed sequence: at the beginning the installation is in a chaotic state. Slowly the first geometric forms emerge, loosely relating to the contours of the vehicle that appear later. The final shape of the vehicle then emerges from this process. Lichtenberg Figure, a #sculpture that captures lightning presenting by criticalelectron⁣ •⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ This self created lightning spectacle was first created by German physicist Georg Christoph Lichtenberg, hence these patterns are also named "Lichtenberg patterns".⁣ •⁣⁣⁣⁣ When a particle accelerator injects a large number of electrons into the #plexiglass plate, a large amount of electrical energy (about 1 million to 2.5 million volts) accumulates in the plate. Afterwards, the structure of the organic glass panel will be destroyed by external forces, and a large number of electrons will suddenly flood into the "structural destruction point" - the same principle as lightning releasing electrons, but this is the "mini lightning storm" in the organic glass panel. .
