Kenyan author, journalist and TV personality Levi Kones happy to reunite with aunt who gave him hope ahead of his rehabilitation journey, shortly after he was deported from the US 13 years ago.

Kones said that his aunt's words were an anchor in a season he was on the brink of sinking into depression and was happy to meet with her in Australia in 2024. His aunt had spoken hope to him in 2011.

Truly everyone deserves another chance, God changes people's stories for the good.

He owned and ran a media house that not only reached many with Good News but nurtured many of us to be the journalists we are by giving us an opportunity to work at Fish FM.

He is pursuing a PhD, has a Master's degree, and has an Undergraduate degree. He contested for a gubernatorial seat and aspired for the presidency in 2022.

He is an amazing teacher of the word of God, music and many progressive subjects. He is also an unmatched music producer.

Beyond the many things he is, Papa is a friend to many, a mentor and father to many, and a very fun human to hang around. Man Karis and many more others can attest.

Today I celebrate and honour you, Papa. Keep inspiring us and making Kenya and the world a better place. We love you. If for nothing else, keep showing the young generation that God prospers whoever accepts to be loved and to serve Him.

Meet The ‘kid’ On The Old Blue Band Tin, Chris Kamau It was in 1984 during the Blue Band Margarine Campaign in Kenya, that an unknown, smiling 11-year-old Chris Kamau (now 50) became a household image in East Africa by appearing on the Blueband tin holding a slice of bread with the popular spread. He appeared to be happy which expresses how the blue band was of good quality and if any one uses it he or she could be happy as well. "Blue Band Makes Everything Taste Better."
