U.S. Army veteran Lindsay Hyle had no idea where the journey would lead when she embarked on a “fun little boutique” for ladies intimate apparel in November 2018. Within the first two years of opening Lush Intimates, now rebranded as Lia at the Lake, Hyle experienced circumstances that destroy most small businesses, including multiple relocations, buying out a business partner, catastrophic supply chain issues due to Covid-19, and balancing work with time-intensive family needs.

God works in wondrous ways. Lindsay Hyle COEUR d’ALENE, Idaho — U.S. Army veteran Lindsay Hyle had no idea where the journey would lead when she embarked on a “fun little boutique” for …

Unfortunately, as long as Marxists remain leaders within today's Democratic Party, we cannot come together after this election in peace and reconciliation. Whether we win or lose today's elections, we must continue to fight, fight, fight! No matter how exhausted we are, we must be indefatigable as we defend our Federal Constitutional Republic against all enemies, foreign or domestic.

At this point, one wonders why we should vote at all. Even when conservatives win, the left-leaning factions weaponize everything to wreak havoc and destroy in order to regain control. This is a culture clash between the right-leaning MAGA Republicans and the left-leaning educators and Democrat-voting political activists.

Letter to the Editor -- by Robert C. Esson of Kootenai County, LAPD Commander (retired)

Elections are always filled with antagonistic rhetoric and mud slinging that candidates aim toward opponents in an effort to show themselves unblemished.

While scrolling through Facebook, a "Dan Wilson" for sheriff popped up on my screen. If you're unaware of this opponent to Sheriff Bob Norris, I would suggest you educate yourself. From what I have discovered, Dan Wilson is a former part-time reserve officer from a county in Washington who has never held a full-time law enforcement position anywhere else in the nation.
