Are you an Apostle Paul or The handkerchief?
Are you a Prophet Samuel or The anointing oil?
Are you a King David or a King Saul?

Apostle Joshua Selman said, "The handkerchief could perform miracles but the handkerchief cannot know God. Apostle Paul knew his God and was also anointed."

The anointing oil could saturate a man with God's power by His Spirit, but the anointing cannot know God. Prophet Samuel knew His God and was also anointed.

There is something about king David and about King Saul that relates to this teachings. You see, King Saul was anointed but He did not know His God; He was an handkerchief, an anointing oil. King David on the other hand was anointed and still knew His God; Oh, as young boy tending His Father flock, he sought the Lord with all His heart and found Him. He was so unwavering; He knew His God is mighty to save but King Saul did not know His God was able to deliver, only put your trust in Him.

Incase you didn't notice, The men that know their God always had impact on lives; They raised up men. Apostle Paul mentored many, Timothy, Titus and lots more. Prophet Samuel raised up King David and King Saul. King David raised up several men from brokenness into warriors. The handkerchief can only awe men, he cannot build men.
But know that those men had a decision to make; A decision to either be An handkerchief that is only anointed and can perform miracles or A man that knows His God.
The anointing does not bring a knowledge of God, but the knowledge of God brings the anointing. The anointing cannot make you do exploits, it cannot sustain you, but those that know their God shall do exploits, they shall be like mount Zion that cannot be shaken.

Do you still need me to tell you to seek God? Don't be deceived by anointing and seek the one who is life; The Lord is life. I choose to be A King David that says in Psalm 63;1, "O God, you are my God, earnestly will I seek you; my soul thirst for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water."

Who do you choose to be?
An Apostle Paul or An Handkerchief.
A Prophet Samuel or The anointing oil?
A King David or A King Saul?
Choose wisely.

“God thank you”, I said, my face full with smiles. I can’t help but repeat smiling even as write and maybe after reading this, you would join me smiling as you read on or later on, in the nearest future when you too ruminate and say subconsciously, “God thank you oo".

You see one year ago, I had no life, no purpose, no essence; I was literally empty but you know what? I did not know.
I, just like Eve constantly lusted for and ate pseudo- pleasure giving apples; ‘They are pleasing to the eyes and desirable for wisdom and good for food and satisfying and joy-giving’, was what I was made to believe but in reality they left me dead and naked. Oh! Those apples I ate and oh, how empty I felt, although for a long time I never noticed a dent; It destroyed and destroyed silently, more silk and unnoticeable than ‘The silent killer- HBP'.
Gradually, I got to know I needed change but the apple seeds had grown so big inside of me and had deep roots, so deep my willpower or self-love or love from my parents could not uproot. This also was pseudo-knowledge, deceiving me into believing I was becoming a better person because I stopped doing somethings and directing my attention away from what really mattered; A real life!
Now, I have a life; One exuding confidence and joy and love and peace and purpose and purity and essence, A REAL LIFE.

Someone might ask, ‘How did you find life?’
Did I find life? No! Life found me, for He said, “You have not chosen me but I have chosen you and ordained you to bear fruit; fruit that will last…”(John 15:16)

The Lord Jesus is life and He shone His light that blessed Sunday afternoon and I knew for the first time that I really had no life, no purpose, no essence, no joy, no pleasure. He found me and He has found you that is reading this right now and He really wants to give you joy that is independent of situations. He wants to give you peace that is not dependent on any man or woman on any object on any situation. He wants to give you Him- He is life and since He is perfect be sure you are going to have a life outside condemnation and inside perfection.

*He has shone His light into your heart now and what is left of you is to make the decision to come to Him who is life, Jesus Christ, The Son of God; Forsaking all pseudo- joy givers and life-sweeteners and humbling your self before Him acknowledging your insufficiencies and need for Him to Lord you, confessing your sins and believing He is able to save and has actually saved you.*

I hope you look back one day and smile; Most preferably in heaven when you will tell me, _‘ Christ used you to shine His light and the end product is me in heaven, looking back, smiling and saying “God thank you'”. I love you and hope to see you in heaven one day💗
To all those in Christ Jesus already, persevere for only in perseverance is there a reward. Bring lost souls to Christ Jesus; Send the Light.

In your walk with God, THE MORE YOU KNOW THE MORE YOU GROW.

Continually asking God to make you grow will not make you grow, it is when you seek Him that you will find Him.

When you know, you will be able to do other things that will build you to fullness in Christ;

When you know, you will know to pray always.
When you know, you will know to fast and pray.
When you know, you will know to give.
When you know, you will know to come back every single day to His presence; Morning and Night

Romans 13:11 NIV
*"[11] And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed."*

I am going to be moving two or three verses backwards so you get to know what the Holy Spirit is admonishing you on. But first let me tell you about *‘The Present Time'* , for without an understanding of the Present time, we won’t be able to do what the Holy Ghost wants us to do.
Taking notes from the verses 11&12 of Romans 13, we see that, the present time is;
1. A time when our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.
2. According to verse 15, the 'Present Time' is “A night far spent”, that is it is the dead of the night and we know that in the physical realm, the dead of the night is characterized by so many in the state of sleep.

Since we know from a fair point what 'The Present time’ is, I can go on to reveal what the Holy Ghost wants me to reveal.
Verses 8 of Romans 13, tells us that; Let no debt remain outstanding except the continuing debt to love one another, for he who loves his fellow-man has fulfilled the law'. To love is what the Holy Ghost wants us to do and not just to love but to love with the understanding of the present time.

Ooh, The Present Time. If we all come to know and understand the present time then, there will be a change in church; A radically positive change.
1. THE PRESENT TIME IS EVERY TIME;
Every day; Every hour; in fact, every nanosecond we live is the Present Time.
2. THE PRESENT TIME IS THE TIME CALLED NIGHT;
The present time is a time controlled in darkness; The god of this world, the devil, still reigns and since he rules still, then darkness is multiplied in litters in every place(Families, Schools, The society and even The church) and every individual that makes up these places.
3. THE PRESENT TIME IS ALMOST OVER;
*‘The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.’* Romans 13 vs 12a. We are close to dawn; We near twilight.

Many Christians don’t know and understand the present time. We fail to create a difference in actions taken between the physical and the Spiritual.
1.)In the physical, we have day and night; In the Spiritual, we have night and day, no wonder it is recorded in the bible, *‘..and the evening and morning, the first day.’*

2.)In the physical, we sleep(or rest) in the night; *In the Spiritual you are meant to stay awake in the night and rest in the day.* Let me explain better by the Help of The Holy Ghost;

Apostle Paul tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:5-6 that, *“You are sons of the light and sons of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep but let us be alert and self-controlled.”*
In Hebrews 4:9, it says, *“There remains a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from His. Let us therefore make every effort to enter the rest,…”*

Many Christians today are behaving today like they belong to the night and so they sleep. *The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because your salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.* Romans 13:11b

So the Holy Ghost wants us to be awake and alert and self controlled in love. Let us not sleep-love, neither should we be asleep, let us be wide eyed loving others for the day is nearly over. Let us be careful and alert as we love; Many are controlled by the darkness that rules and if we are not careful enough we too can fall into darkness.

You want to alert and self-controlled in love? *Clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus; He is the word of God; Renew your mind in Him and think not how to gratify the desires of the sinful man.* Romans 13:14

Jesus showed love to sinners; Show love to sinners. Jesus showed love to an Harlot; show love to harlots. Jesus was conscious enough not to fall into sin of cheating or sexual immorality; Be conscious enough too.
Jesus went and ate regularly in Mary and Martha’s house; Go and eat in Mary and Martha’s house but don’t forget He also taught them the word of God and He never sinned.

In teaching that girl Mathematics, remember; *the night is nearly over, the day is almost here* . Are you going to check up on him? Please do it because you are storing treasures for yourself in heaven but remember; *"The night is nearly over and the day is almost here."*

In all things, continue to *love with the consciousness* *that day is almost here and only in love can we store up treasures for that glorious day.* (1 Timothy 6:18-19)

_*But since we belong to the day, let us be self controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and hope of salvation as an helmet.*_ (1 Thessalonians 5:8)

If the only reason we say, ‘Good God’ is because our parents say ‘God is good’ then I want to tell you something; You do not know God at all!
Why do you call God YHWH? Why do you call him Elohim? Why do you call Him mighty? Aren’t you just following the norm? You know, everyone says it in church.

God is tangible, you can feel Him, you can see Him although He is invisible. David did not just call God his refuge, because He just wanted to give Him one fine name; God was actually His refuge, His comfort and more.
When you know God for who He is and not what your mummy calls Him or your pastor says He is or anyone, you will be able to praise in spite of whatever it is- Abundance, lack, e.t.c . In fact, you will be able to believe He will do for you what He has done for others. You will stop asking irrelevant questions because now you know God’s will and character.

God is my teacher; He tells me in His word that, I will no longer be taught by men and yes He has taught me so much. His word says He is my comfort, Has he given me comfort? Opor, it’s plenty. He is Jehovah Jireh, God my very own provider.

So how do you come to know Him? “If you seek me, you will find me when you seek me with your whole heart" Jeremiah 29:13
‘Draw nigh to God He will draw nigh to you…’

Dust your bible, invite the Holy Ghost to teach you, Read it meditatively having the Holy Ghost in mind as teacher of the Word, Act in faith and patience with what teaches and see Him moooove.

There has been so many congratulatory posts for Hilda Baci, everyone is praising her tenacity and resilience; she deserves the praise and support she’s getting from so many around the world. I want to send a message; Not to Hilda, but to those netizens praising Hilda for her feat.

Dear reader, you see I want to change the outcome of things this time around. Would this be the first time you would be awed by a tenacious and relentless individual? No!
Let me remind you of the time you read the ‘ Ben Carson’s autobiography' , I knew you were so jolted for success and maybe you read it, time and time again, but look at you now, little or nothing has changed in and about you.

Yesterday 4 minutes to 4pm, 92hours into Hilda’s proposed 96 hours feat , I heard from the news of her wanting to go 100 hours, at that point I confirmed a thesis, “WINNERS ARE VEHICLES POWERED BY THE DRIVE TO LEAVE AN UNBEATABLE MARK".

Do you know what she thought about 24 hours into it? _‘I can go 24 more hours'_ and that drive never waned as she neared 96 hours, she could have settled for 88 hours, it would have beaten the record previously set by Lata Tondon, but no she was going to do something no one has ever done, she’d say, “If I can go 88 hours, then I can go 90 hours, I can go 96 hours and I can definitely go 100 hours”; I am sure at home right now she would have thought she could have extended it for 110 hours, that is how champions think.

I am not asking everyone to start a cook-a-thon, Albert Einstein has his name in the Guinness world Record yet he did no cook-a-thon, find your calling and go with a drive, do not limit your self; CHAMPIONS ARE DRIVEN BY A RUGGED AMBITION TO LEAVE AN UNBEATABLE MARK.

Hate to live a normal life; Hate wanting to just go through every year without a new record: Hate wanting to tell your kids stories about other people. Stop chasing ‘Fine face’ and ‘nice boots' and ‘clothes’ and shoes’ and think without limit.

I will close with; “HE WHO TILLS HIS LAND WILL HAVE AN ABUNDANT HARVEST BUT HE WHO CHASES FANTASIES WILL HAVE POVERTY ENOUGH.” Proverbs 28:19

Christ is risen.

Before He died, He was betrayed by Judas; Disowned by Peter( A very close friend and disciple); deserted by all His disciples; Accused falsely by the Pharisees; Insulted by the people He had healed; Beaten and crucified by soldiers.

He rose and appeared to Peter, the one who had disowned Him, and He did not condemn Peter; He never said to Him, “Why did you disown me?”

He appeared to those disciples, the very ones that deserted Him, yet He said, “Peace be still".

When He rose up from the dead, there were soldiers guarding the tomb; Remember they humiliated Him; He didn’t kill them.

He appeared to many and many; He could have scared every person in Israel at time connected to the pain He felt, yet He in love of them told His disciples, “Go into all the world preach the gospel to every creature- the people who crucified were not exempted.”
Jesus does not condemn anyone. He loves you and He won’t remind you of your sins; He won’t laden you with guilt; He will forgive your sins. Come to Him now! Pray👇

God the Father, sovereign and merciful God, I thank you for your love, shown to us by sending your Son, Jesus, to die on the cross of Calvary for the remission of sins. I confess that Jesus is Lord and I believe that God raised Him from death back to life. Thank you for saving me. I turn away completely from my sins from now on. Help me to live for you forever, in Jesus name, Amen.

Proverbs 24:30-34 NIV
[30] I went past the field of a sluggard, past the vineyard of someone who has no sense; [31] thorns had come up everywhere, the ground was covered with w**ds, and the stone wall was in ruins. [32] I applied my heart to what I observed and learned a lesson from what I saw: [33] A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest— [34] and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.

Reading this bible passage, the Holy Ghost taught me lessons; These lessons I am going to share with you.
1. Observe: King Solomon went past the vineyard not as any other person, he went past the vineyard observing. Be that king Solomon -like, person that observes as he moves.

2. Learn: King Solomon, applied his heart to what he had observe, see Vs 32. He didn’t just stop at observing, he took a step further to learn. He pried in his heart. Proverbs 2:2 tells us a condition for learning is, “[2] turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding— Proverbs 2:2 NIV”
Turn your ear to wisdom, apply it to understanding. Ask the Holy Ghost to teach you lessons and on every situation.

3. The stings of laziness; King Solomon observed a lot as he walked past the field of the sluggard. He observed that it was;

¡ FILLED WITH THORNS AND W**D; When we talk about laziness, we tend to just centre our minds on academics, house chores and our jobs, well this laziness is encompassing all areas including your health and spiritual life. When you become lazy about your health, thorns and w**d will grow( sicknesses); in our Spiritual life, if we get lazy to pray and read the word, (we will get so susceptible to sin, attacks from the devil and before long, anger, evil thoughts, lust, e.t.c, grow)
¡ THE STONE WALL IN RUINS; Another thing, King Solomon discovered is the stone wall in ruins. Spiritually, we have a hedge around us (Job 1:10). Health-wise, we have an immune system put in us by God. Academically, there is a foundation. With laziness, there is a destruction of the stone walls and it becomes so easy for us external forces to come in.
· A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of hand everyday, and you won’t pray. A little sleep, a little slumber and you won’t exercise your body or eat well. A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of hands and you will be poor.


Get up and start working.
Observe.
Learn.
Act.

Do you know that our love is empty without knowledge?

Do you know want a profound knowledge of who God is and His perfect will? Don't scroll away then, what you want is what God has brought you to. Read on!

Philippians‬ ‭1:9‭-‬11‬ ‭NIV‬‬
[9] And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, [10] so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, [11] filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ—to the glory and praise of God.

Our love is incomplete without knowledge and depth of insight, which is also a function of how much knowledge we have.

There are so many people who love God, but lack knowledge of who God is.
They want to serve Him, but they do it in a wrong way because there is no just knowledge of who God is.
Only in love bounded by knowledge do we become blameless, discerning and bear righteous fruits to the Glory of God
Every Christian has love in them. The love of God, why? Because we have the Spirit of love living inside of us. The bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1 vs 7, that, ‘God has not given us a spirit of timidity, but a Spirit of Power, of LOVE and of self-discipline.(Added EMPHASIS- M.B.M✍).

But like a prince who does not know He is a prince but a sees himself as the son of a chief won’t exercise His authority to maximum, we won't exercise our power of love; The Love of God, our neighbours and ourselves.

The Holy Ghost speaking through Apostle Paul says in ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭1:4‭-‬6‬ ‭NIV‬‬
‘[4]Because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people— [5] the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel [6] that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace.’
Speaking to the Christians in Collose, Apostle Paul says, they have heard of a faith in Christ and love that springs from the hope stored up in heaven: a hope they have come to know by hearing and believing the gospel.

But then Apostle Paul did want them to stop at just having only a love that springs from salvation; knowing and believing in the hope that Christ gives.
In subsequent verses, He wrote ;
[9] For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, [10] so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, [11] being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, [12] and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light. ( Colossians‬ ‭1:9‭-‬12‬ ‭NIV‬‬)
Since discovering their salvation, evidenced by love, Apostle Paul did not pray for love or faith, He prayed for knowledge that comes from SPIRITUAL WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING THAT ONLY THE HOLY GHOST GIVES.

We may read books and read bible passages, finish the bible every year; many Christians do; but if we do not allow the Holy Ghost to teach us, we end up deceiving ourselves.
The word of God is more than just a book of promises. It is a mystery, that was why God teleported Philip to the Ethiopian eunuchs who was reading the bible and could not understand.
Note; He[ The Eu**ch admitted he did not understand].

Until we admit our deficiency, we would never be able to understand the bible. The Holy Ghost is our helper, we do not help Him lessen His work, He is God, nothing too hard for Him to do.
And we allow the Holy Ghost to teach us God's word; his love and character and we put them into practice, we will grow in power and bear fruits for God, lasting and perfect fruits.
To get knowledge there are 3 steps; All in which God is involved. They are:
Ask, Seek and Knock (Matthew 7 vs 7)

ASK;
James 1 vs 5-6
“If any of you lacks wisdom let him ask of God who gives generously to all without finding fault and it will be given to him. But when he asks, he MUST believe and not doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” [Added Emphasis- M.B.M✍]

God wants us to ask Him in faith for knowledge, just like Apostle Paul did. We must believe that as we ask God, He has given us; “For without Faith, it is impossible to please God…”(Hebrews 11:6)
Unfortunately many Christians spend almost all their time asking. We do not need to convince God to give us something.
I am not in anyway discouraging praying for hours, all I am saying is that we should spend most of our prayer time, PRAISING GOD; INTERCEEDING; SUPPLICATING; and ASKING GOD WITH AN EARNEST DESIRE FOR SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS RATHER THAN TRYING TO CONVINCE HIM TO GIVE US BLESSINGS.

He knows our needs and our wants and I believe when we ask in faith and Holiness, we have received and what is left, is for us to take what He has given us; Jesus says, “You may ask me anything in my name, and I will do it.” John 14 vs 14.

SEEK
In the bible verse, Matthew 7 vs 7, Jesus said, ‘Ask and you shall receive, seek and you shall find and knock and the door will be opened unto you.”
Many Christians are so familiar with asking for a desire and knowledge for God. They ask but have forgotten to go a step further; SEEK.

Knowledge does not come to us only asking, just as money won’t come to us, if we just wish and ask.
Jeremiah 29:12-13 gives a clear picture, The Lord says;
‘Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. [Asking]
You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.’[Seeking]

Finally on seeking, Proverbs 2:3-4 tells us;
‘And if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding [ASKING], and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and the find the knowledge of God.[SEEKING]’.
Verse 6 adds, ‘For the Lord gives wisdom and from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding.’ This emphasizes that if we seek outside the help of the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of wisdom, then we will find nothing.

KNOCK;
Remember going to your friend’s house? Maybe you called him earlier using your phone, telling him to send you something you desperately need. Two days passed and you've seen nothing. Because of the desperate need of that item, you decided to go to his house to collect it. You called him telling him, you are on your way and a few minutes on, you are at the door.

You won’t just pass through the door, you will knock on the door; Why? Because without knocking, you won’t get your friends attention.
It’s not different with God. Knocking shows desperation, desire and it’s a call for attention. When asking does not do give it to you, seek; when asking and seeking does not give you enough, knock and the door will be opened.
How do you knock?
1) Fasting: Remember when Jesus said to His disciples, ‘This cannot be taken except by prayer and fasting’. You want more of God, consistently ask, seek and knock.
2) Tithing: The bible says, ‘Bring the whole tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in the house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” Pay your tithes faithfully, alongside your offerings and see God bless you.
3) Selfless service to God; Give to people in need, love, e.t.c (Hebrews 6vs10)
4) Evangelise, (John 15 vs 16)

Important notes;
• Love without knowledge is empty
• It’s Ask, Seek and Knock- they work together.
• Asking, Seeking and Knocking outside the Help of the Holy Spirit is equally empty- zero power, zero divine wisdom.

The Exodus story of the children of Israel is one that we have come to know even as kids.

Its such an interesting and awe-stricking story; God's awesome power was displayed.
There is this part of the story God wants to speak to you on.

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭9:18‭-‬21‬ ‭NIV‬‬

[18] Therefore, at this time tomorrow I will send the worst hailstorm that has ever fallen on Egypt, from the day it was founded till now.

[19] Give an order now to bring your livestock and everything you have in the field to a place of shelter, because the hail will fall on every person and animal that has not been brought in and is still out in the field, and they will die.’ ”

[20] Those officials of Pharaoh who feared the word of the Lord hurried to bring their slaves and their livestock inside. [21] But those who ignored the word of the Lord left their slaves and livestock in the field.

[24] hail fell and lightning flashed back and forth. It was the worst storm in all the land of Egypt since it had become a nation.

[25] Throughout Egypt hail struck everything in the fields—both people and animals; it beat down everything growing in the fields and stripped every tree.

God was going to send a terrible hailstorm to the land of Egypt, since Pharaoh was stubborn and unwilling to let God's people go. God rich in love, sent warnings to Pharaoh, his officials and Egyptians. There were two different reactions to this message of warning;
A people who heard and listened and
A people who heard and ignored.

In verse 24 and 25, it was recorded that true to God's word, hail fell, lightining struck and rain poured, the worst since Egypt was founded as a nation and EVERYTHING LEFT ON THE FIELD- PEOPLE AND ANIMALS AND CROPS.

God sent His word, His word true and never failing and those who ignored bore the consequences of their disobedience.

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:1‭-‬2‬ ‭NIV‬‬

'In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.'
God has spoken His words through His son Jesus, and what has the son said? The bible tells us, ' From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” [Matthew 4 vs 17]

God words has the same lethality even today and for this words, there is a greater punishment. The Holy Ghost confirming Jesus's words said; ‬
'According to the Lord’s word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first.' (1 Thessalonians‬ ‭4:15‭-‬16‬ ‭NIV)

Have you grown tired of hearing, 'Christ is coming soon'? Are you listening to those who rebuff or scorn the warning of Christ's coming ? Here is what the Holy Ghost says;‭
[3] Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. [4] They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” [5] But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. [6] By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. [7] By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.' (2Peter 3:3-7‭NIV)

He spoke in time pasts and it was fulfilled, He is the same God even today. He will come like a thief in the night, when no one expects, the universe will be destroyed with a roar, the heavenly bodies will be destroyed by fire and the earth will be laid bare. (2Peter 3:10; Paraphrase).

'Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives, as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, where righteousness dwells. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him." 2 Peter 3 vs 11- 14.

You want to live blameless, spotless, holy, true, pure, faultless and at peace with God until He comes and forever? Do you want to escape the damnation of the earth? It starts with surrendering to Jesus today, even now. To surrender our lives to the saviour and Lord over all, please pray this prayer sincerely;

'Lord Jesus, I thank you for your love for me, the love you showed by dying on calvary for my sins. I thank you because you have brought your message of love to me. Have mercy on me; Forgive me of all sins, O Lord, for i know I am empty and useless without you. Lord Jesus, I believe you died for my sins and God the Father has raised you back to life and you life now and forever. I confess with my mouth, 'Jesus you are Lord' over everyone, everything and every situation. I ask that you help me live for you till Kingdom come, Amen

Congratulations you are now a member of the great family of Christ, if you have said this prayers with a sincere and contrite heart.
Since are now children of light, act as children of light, for your body is dead to sin and alive in Christ (Romans 6:10-12). You have power over sin; The Spirit of Grace teaches us to say No, to worldly passions and helps us live in sobriety, righteousness and godliness as we await Christ coming( Titus 2 vs 11-12)

Yield the members of your body not unto unrighteousness but to righteousness, for sin has no dominion over you. Romans 6 vs 13-14
Never lacking in zeal; keeping Spiritual fervour serving the Lord. Be joyful in hope, patient in sufferings and faithful in prayer [Talking and Listening to God], Romans 12 vs 11-12

I RETURNED HOME TO THE FATHER: HE IS WAITING I sat down on the arm rest thinking and I can recall my favourite football club was playing that day but I couldn't watch😪,Yes! I couldn't watch those footballers who gave me joy when they played because at that moment, if joy was a fuel, then I was out of fuel- I couldn't move. Super Sunday as it was called, was for hours, awful. I can't really wrap my head around how I felt but one feeling I couldn't forget was that of emptiness- a type I have never felt before, it was swallowing me up-, I felt worthless, in short I felt nothing. Many will definitely want to know why? Chill😕, I will tell you. Well, I had been used up by the devil. I had given him my talents and gifts and was rewarded with nothing but the emptiness I felt; Truly, " The Devil, does come to KILL,STEAL AND DESTROY." My dreams were killed, my joy was stolen and my life was destroyed. As I thought about what I had become , about how empty the devil had left me after he deceived me many years that I was 'enjoying ' life, The Holy Ghost came. He came with God's love message. He came with contents of mercy, grace and conviction but never condemnation. He did not come to remind me of my sins, but to set me free from the addictions of them and break the fetter of guilt I was then bound with. He came to cloth me with honour. He came to clothe me with power and authority over The Deceiver. He came to cloth me with Love and with royalty. He convicted me and opened my eyes to see the vast difference between, how I lived at that moment and the plans He had for me- the plans that are of good and not of evil, to give me an expected end- and I didn't hesitate to return home to the WAITING arms of God, my father. As I returned home to The Father of Love, my God and king, I knelt down before Him and cried out to Him. And God
