This past weekend, Law Review held our virtual spring semester meeting will all our members.

We discussed our upcoming 7th Annual American Constitutional Law Scholars Forum which will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 via Zoom. We also discussed our upcoming May publication of our next Volume of Law Review.

Congratulations to Christian Williams, Connor Jenkins, and Harrison Derner for receiving the Best Brief Award in the Wechsler Moot Court Competition. The team has advanced from the preliminary rounds and will be arguing in the final rounds tomorrow.

We will explain the timeline for the write-on assignment, the grade-on process, and what to expect as a member of the Law Review or a journal. Barry Law Students will receive Cultural Competency Credits for attending! Free Florida Bar CLE credits will be provided as well.

We are thrilled to share the success of BLR’s very own Catherine McCabe Hansen. Catherine recently completed an internship with the North Carolina Supreme Court. From May - August 2020, Catherine assisted Chief Justice Paul Newby.

As part of the internship, Catherine conducted a mock oral argument before Justice Newby and his law clerks. Check out the picture below!
