Congratulations to Christian Williams, Connor Jenkins, and Harrison Derner for receiving the Best Brief Award in the Wechsler Moot Court Competition. The team has advanced from the preliminary rounds and will be arguing in the final rounds tomorrow.

The Barry Law Review Write-On Competition begins tomorrow, June 4, 2021. All students should have received an email from Professor Hull providing instructions on how to participate in the Write-On Competition. To participate, please ensure that Barry Law Review is added as a class on TWEN.

We will explain the timeline for the write-on assignment, the grade-on process, and what to expect as a member of the Law Review or a journal. Whether you plan to grade-on or write-on, please join us to learn more about the process!

We are excited to announce that Barry Law Review Associate Editor Trevor M Sorbo has just started a 2-year appointment as Commissioner for District 1 on Orange County’s Planning & Zoning Board!

We are thrilled to share the success of BLR’s very own Catherine McCabe Hansen. Catherine recently completed an internship with the North Carolina Supreme Court. From May - August 2020, Catherine assisted Chief Justice Paul Newby.

As part of the internship, Catherine conducted a mock oral argument before Justice Newby and his law clerks. Check out the picture below!
