NOTE: I was not planing to bring the show back this soon. However, I would be less than the journalist I have always considered myself to be if I did not start this VERY painful conversation. When Jonathan Good left the security of a job and a midcard push at WWE to strike back out on his own, taking back the name Jon Moxley, he wasn't sure if wrestling fans would accept the change, especially after some of the things he had to do in the later stages of his time at WWE. In this episode,....

Originally I was going to do a LIVE episode following Royal Rumble. However, today's news concerning the sudden tragic passing of Kobe Bryant has made it where I don't feel I can go on the air.
I am not just a wrestling fan and former regional wresting performer, but I'm also a basketball fan. I grew up as a Lakers fan, even living in the Midwest. My Dad went to high school with Chick Hearn, the man who became the radio voice of the Lakers. When the Chicago Bulls were broken up, I went back to the Lakers, and Kobe was on those Lakers teams.
I'll watch the Royal Rumble, along with the rest of you, but I'll be doing it out of duty rather than out of desire.
I appreciate your indulgence and I will be on this coming Thursday and Friday.
Hi wrestling fans,
Unfortunately I am a bit under the weather so I will not have a show this evening. Hopefully I will get past all of it and will be back LIVE next Friday.
Thank you
Thanks to everyone for your indulgence as I have been taking care of my wife. A NEW episode of LIVE will drop tomorrow.

Thanks for your indulgence in waiting for a new episode as well as your good wishes for my wife with her surgery. It's tough to not do a podcast, especially after a busy weekend like there was in the wrestling business, but family comes first.
I currently plan, barring anything unforeseen, on having a new episode up next Wednesday.

LIVE Now Goes Live
When I originally envisioned LIVE From The Dean’s Den it was just a title to purvey that I was indeed recording live from my house and my cushy chair that you see in the picture. It wasn’t until a few weeks ago that I even considered actually making the original show live and then uploading the audio as a test after a Skype update which caused issues with me getting on during one of our Thursday shows. After seeing the numbers showing that people were actually listening, whether live or on replay, I knew I had to make LIVE an actual live broadcast every week.
I’d like to thank my partners at ERN for indulging me and letting me do my show, although they are more than welcome to join me as they know and if they do I will expand those episodes to at least an hour. Personally I believe that you can only listen to one person talking on their own for so long, even on a subject you enjoy, before you say “Enough”. That is why I stick to 30 minute episodes, to avoid boring you, my audience. The fact that you keep listening every week tells me my thinking is correct.
Remember, if you miss the live broadcast you can listen to the replay on any of the services you see listed in the picture. Some hosting services actually pay me for listeners, but I will not attempt to sway you to one of them, just listen wherever you get your podcasts. Recently I started uploading the audio to my YouTube channel and I encourage you to listen there as well.
All in all I want to just say thank you for listening and I hope you will continue to listen and support.
