During the World Teachers' Day celebration, the students of Parang National High School paid heartfelt tribute to their teachers through a touching video presentation. This creative homage featured a series of slides showcasing memorable moments from teachers' activities, interspersed with warm greetings and messages of appreciation from students and former students of PNHS. The initiative was organized collaboratively by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), under the guidance of their dedicated adviser, Mrs. Riolalyn D. Cosmiano, Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) and other student organizations who worked together with SSLG to make the event successful .
The video not only highlighted the teachers' commitment and passion but also fostered a deeper sense of gratitude within the school community. Overall, the tribute served as a powerful reminder of the invaluable role teachers play in shaping the lives of their students.

PNHS DLC: 2nd Best, Musical Champs

Parang National High School Drum and Lyre Corps showcased their exceptional talent at the Inter-School Drum and Glockenspiel Competition held today, August 14, 2024, at the Cantilan Town Plaza. While narrowly missing the top spot, the PNHS DLC made their mark by securing a commendable second place finish and earning the prestigious Best in Musicality Award.
Despite the fierce competition, the group's performance was nothing short of extraordinary. Their impeccable musicality, precision, and synchronization captivated the audience and left a lasting impression on the judges. The Best in Musicality Award is a testament to the group's dedication to producing harmonious and captivating performances.
Though they fell short of the championship title, the PNHS DLC has undoubtedly made a name for themselves in the competitive drum and lyre scene. Their performance today serves as a motivation to strive for even greater heights in future competitions.
PNHS family is incredibly proud of their students for their exceptional talent and teamwork.

Parang National High School echoed with the buzz of eager volunteers and the clatter of tools as Brigada Eskwela 2024 kicked off in full swing. Parents, teachers, students, and community members converged under the sweltering sun, embodying the Filipino spirit of 'bayanihan'.

With every shared effort, PNHS together with the stakeholders reaffirmed its dedication to nurturing the next generation of leaders through collective action and shared responsibility.

Brigada Eskwela will end up on July 27, 2024.

Heads up LOVERS of ParangNHS, again back-to-school is inevitable and so to prepare our school for the eager learners, we invite volunteers to the Kick-off of Brigada Eskwela ‘24 next week July 22-27, 2024 at Parang National High School.

Brigada Eskwela is a program of the DepEd that helps every school in preparation for the opening of the class. Hence, we invite volunteers to lend hand in preparing the school by means of cleaning the surroundings in-and-out. Also, the school would love to accept donations as support for the improvement of the facilities.

Please be informed that on February 24, 2024 (Saturday) there will be an scheduled power interruption at Madrid Substation Feeder 1,2,3 @8:00 am-4:00 pm to facilitate substation tightening, line rehab/replacement of rotten poles and conduct line clearing on main distribution lines....

Affected areas on this particular power interruption area as follows:
Municipality of Madrid, Carmen, Lanuza and portion of Municipality Cantilan which includes Brgy. Parang, Cabas-an, Cabangahan, Buntalid, Tigabong, Calagdaan and portion of Pag antayan.

Power will be restored without prior notice upon completion of works.

BJ VON ADVANCES TO CAA-RSC 2024

BJ Von Dillera and Roms Kontantinos Sunico of Unit 1 Badminton Boys Secondary Doubles smashed their opponents from Unit 3 during their match at the Country Farm, Cantilan , Surigao Del Sur for Provincial Athletic Meet 2024. They will be representing the province of Surigao Del Sur for the upcoming Caraga Athletic Association-Regional Sports Competition (CAA-RSC).
