Background:
Wasim started off his journey as a Professional cricketer in England in the 90s, having played 10 years at the county level including 58 First class games for Warwickshire, Sussex and Derbyshire.
Wasim then went on to become the CEO of three notable organisations: Leicestershire county cricket club, the Cricket Foundation and the 'Pakistan Cricket board (PCB)'.
He further pursued an MBA from the Warwick Business School, is an author of a Wisden award-winning autobiography and won the MBE in 2013.
In this episode, we slow down things and try to understand the challenges of being the first Asian to some of these accolades, whether he ever had the sense of belonging, the negative self-talks, the bold moves, his mantra of success and some cricket.
