Deep Sharma who runs an organic farm stay in Sikkim tells Eco-Spotlight that he would often fall sick and be down with cough almost twice a month when he was living in Bangalore. “Since I moved to Sikkim, I haven’t fallen sick in the last 3-4 years. Definitely, it is because of the urea-free and chemical-free food here.”

It's incredible how going sustainable gives back so much more than it takes! Click on the link in our bio to read about the world's first fully organic state - Sikkim in India.

NEW ARTICLE: In poverty-stricken Burkina Faso, an African country with about 70% rural population, bearing the costs of electricity is still unthinkable for many. It is ironic that a tropical country, receiving ample sunlight for a major part of the day, remains in darkness for upto 12 hours every night.

But a company called Lagazel is changing that. Read the link in our bio to know how.

At least half of Earth’s oxygen comes from the ocean.

And so, coral reefs are often called the lungs of the planet. They are like big chemical factories that take carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and release oxygen back into it, as well as protect shores from erosion caused by storms like hurricanes. Despite the stunning diversity of coral life and the important role they play, all of the world’s coral reefs could vanish by 2050 if nothing is done.

This week, we deep dive into the brilliant reef conservation efforts by Coral Gardeners founded by Titouan Bernicot. Read on and tell us what you think.
