⚙ Patch Notes [December 1, 2022]
Welcome to the Soft Launch of AutoChess Moba. This is the first Patch Notes of ACM, in which you can keep abreast of the latest developments, including Battle Pass, Heroes, Game Modes, Systems, etc. Let’s dive in now!
Gambit Season
-S1 Battle Pass: Our first Battle Pass – Gambit Season Battle Pass is available to activate when S1 starts. Reaching the designated levels to unlock bountiful S1 exclusive rewards.
-S1 Limited Treasure: Treasure is one of the most precious resources to gain in-game skins, decorations, etc. in ACM. In S1 Battle Pass, we introduce four different Treasures, through which you can draw scarce items.
Hero Previews
After the first season – Gambit Season begins, 25 heroes can be unlocked for free. You can unlock them in the Ranked Mode with your Rank advancing higher. The heroes are categorized into six roles for five positions. Here, let’s get an early look at them.
- Warrior: Redfox Swordsman, Dominator, Sunchaser Servant, Space Walker, Avenge Knight, Sacred Knight, Doom Arbiter, Swordman, Skull Hunter, Sky Breaker, Sunchaser Shaman
- Marksman: Dwarf Sniper, Egersis Ranger
- Mage: God of Thunder, Flame Wizard
- Assassin: Dualplot, Thunder Trace, Soul Breaker
- Tank: Redaxe Chief, Tsunami Stalker
- Support: Warpwood Sage, Grimtouch, Tome Apprentice, The Source, Defector
*Some of the heroes have two roles, nonetheless, in this case, we only group them into the principal role.

Game Modes
There are four modes launched in our first version. Here comes the quick view~
-Ranked: A challenging mode to show forth your power. There are seven ranks you can reach after accumulating sufficient Ranked Points, namely, Journeyman, Pawn, Knight, Bishop, Rook, King, and Queen.
-Casual: Not ready for the tough Ranked? You can master more battling tactics by drill and practice in “Casual” beforehand. For the win or loss in this mode, you won’t gain or lose Ranked Points. Rest easy and give it a shot.
-Training: This mode helps you jump-start your ACM journey. You can try different combos of hero abilities with various Active Items. To get hang of them before getting a real match.
-Custom: Play with your friends at will. There are three sub-modes in “Custom”. Free Pick, Restricted Draft, and Competition Draft. Correspondingly, you can create a room and invite friends to start a Ban&Pick match or unrestrictedly.
Game Systems
-Ranking: There are four boards in the Ranking system, through which you can learn the rank list of Battle Pass Levels, Ranked Points, Hero Trends, etc.
-Store: Hero skins, Chess Players, Emojis, Namecards, etc. are displayed in the Store.

-Social: ACM provides chances for you to make friends with players from all over the world. By following other players, you can invite them to fight along with you. ACM supports 18 languages and sets up separate channels for each language to secure communication with fewer barriers.
-Mission: You can gain bountiful rewards from the Mission system. There are Daily Missions, Weekly Missions, Season Missions, and Monthly Missions for you to achieve. After achieving corresponding missions, you can claim plentiful Crystal, Battle Pass Points.
-Penalty System: We are always devoted to maintaining a fair and positive gaming environment. Here, we have formulated some penalties for different in-game violations, including but not limited to Toxic Messages, AFK, Intentional Feeding, Intentional Queue Dodging, etc. We are working on mitigating the effect of those downright disruptive behaviors.
Here is the nitty-gritty of our first version to grip. In the following Patch Notes, we will illustrate Hero Balance, Item Adjustment, etc. since we can assess their performance and make reasonable adjustments resting on the data collected.
