As I usually travel between two home states, during one of my visits to my homeland, Shillong, in the July/August season, I came across this intriguing adult Ashy Drongo just right outside my house. We have a blackberry (Sohiong) tree close by, and it serves as the biggest nest for many bird species. I love nature, and one of my interests is bird-watching too. So, I sat on my balcony with my camera ready and kept capturing this beauty. At first, it was uncomfortable for the bird; though far away, it kept looking each time my lens made some noise. I took multiple shots, but this is one of its still shots when we had a moment eye to eye. Bird photography is one of the hardest things ever, as they can quickly fly away if they feel their privacy is threatened. I mean, we would feel the same if someone takes a picture without our consent, wouldn't we? Have you ever seen this bird species in your location? Comment down below 👇

Hello there 🤗.....
👆🏼this is a conscious selfie🤳🏻 of mine, and I'm excited to share it with you! It's been a while since I last took a selfie, but I wanted to challenge myself and step out of my comfort zone.

As we grow and evolve, our priorities shift, and we become more aware of ourselves and our place in the world. For me, that has meant being more mindful of what I share on social media and what message I want to convey.
