These last few weeks I felt the urge to dig deep. Life felt... heavy. Anyone else?

I'm not sure if it's because of 12/21 or what, but this week felt better.

I journaled A TON. Looked within myself + The Social Age and reassessed A LOT.

I am a firm believer in quality over quantity, and posting just to post felt incredibly unaligned, even as a social media marketer.

With that being said,
The Social Age will be out of office for the rest of the week.

Wishing you a healing break from work these next few days. Enjoy your loved ones + sit in the warmth and glow of your loved ones and alone time, if you're an introvert like me. ^_^

Unpopular Opinion: You don't need to buy anything during Black Friday ✌🏼⁠ ⁠ You can support your fav small biz without breaking your budget, ALL YEAR 'ROUND, with just a lil' thumb action.⁠ ⁠ Here are four ways to support your fav small businesses that costs you $0 + helps them out online.⁠ ⁠ Liking: ⁠ Showing Instagram that they're cool, people like them, and they can trust showing their content to more peeps!⁠ ⁠ Commenting: ⁠ Support + Engagement = Happy Algorithm AND Biz Owner⁠ ⁠ Sharing + Sending: ⁠ Helping them cultivate a new following. New followers = New Customers⁠ *if you share to your story, tag them! Ever since I can remember I was always reading mindset books, blogs, listening to business podcasts and tuning into webinars, all from creatives that quit their 9-5s + pursued their dreams.⁠

I remember after college I actually really liked my first job, initially. Then the reality of having to answer to someone else, who's goals weren't aligned with mine set in. Yeesh.⁠
⁠
That's when I really dug into those resources I had kept in my back pocket all that time, and realized it was the universe's way of pushing me into entrepreneurship.⁠

Some days I have to pinch myself that I started a successful business, but most days I just remember to get my mind right, and, of course, I started a successful business, its what I was meant to do.⁠

This is your reminder that you are your biggest obstacle. The rest is just noise. Let your guard down + listen to your soul. What's it saying? ⁠
