It's blunt but it's true. Grief goes on. We learn to live with it but it never truly leaves us. Even as we are moms, the grief goes on.
Episode 25 on the loss of a sibling by suicide is out now!
We see your grief, mama! ❤️
In motherhood, we're constantly bombarded by all the things we should be doing. It's straight-up exhausting! Consider this week's episode your permission to NOT. This week @carsbaldi and @rashida.dinehart list the things they've simply opted out of caring about. If we're going to drown, it sure as sh*t isn't going to be while doing something that doesn't actually matter to us. 💜
2020 proved that a person could grieve more than just the death of someone. You can grieve over a bad breakup, a job you didn't get, or a house you pictured your kids growing up in. Sure those are varying degrees of pain, but the raw and root feeling is grief. It's a normal feeling to feel when your plans aren't what they should have been.
Can you put a timeline on grief? We say no, but the American Psychiatric Association thinks you can and that it can be diagnosed. Now ya'll know we have thoughts on this! Listen now, wherever you get your podcasts. #griefisntlinear
Ok listen. Hear us out. It’s a podcast about grief….but you also laugh. Like really hard! Being on a grief journey is incredibly hard, but there’s joy here too.
If you’re on a grief journey, what is the last thing that made you laugh. Like really laugh. So hard it hurt! Drop it below! ❤️
You asked ➡️ We recorded! With #MothersDay this weekend and so many of you in the same club as us, we snuck in an ep for fellow #motherlessmoms.
Cara talks about what it was like to lose a mom so close to Mother's Day and Rashida discusses how the day has changed for her over the years since losing her mom and becoming a mom herself.
Wherever you are in your grief journey this weekend, we see you! ❤️
Happy Friday!! If you haven’t listened yet, we're back with a two-parter because we apparently couldn't stop talking. In this ep we welcome back @carsbaldi and introduce baby Brooks! Cara's delivery was wonderful but Brooks' first few days of life were a dozy...
Get caught up with us! Go listen! #whereveryougetyourpodcasts
