In 1985, as the founder and director of Musicians for UNICEF he promoted 15 benefit concerts raising significant amounts of money for children suffering in third world countries. In 1997 after a life changing body surfing accident Eddie founded TRAP, The Rhythmic Arts Program which educates individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Differences.
