Pretty happy with this shot I captured at Freeman Park this past Sunday. Freeman is a Bortle 5-6 zone, representing some of the darkest conditions you can get in the Wilmington area! Even though the pier leaked a lot on light on the right-hand side, you can still clearly make out Jupiter, Saturn, and the dust trails in our Milky Way. This photo is a stack of 10 exposures, with a generous contrast boost. While the quarantine is making travel out of the question, there is no shortage of opportunities to "transport yourself elsewhere." 🙂
