Morning update! First we want to thank everyone for conserving water yesterday you all did a great job. Second, The bypass was put in yesterday, they finished somewhere around 9:30 PM. While this is the good news, we ask that you still do not use any sprinklers, and continue to be mindful of your water usage. You are allowed to shower and wash your clothes and dishes. Just no yards or gardens at this time.

UPDATE.....the bypass is installed and water is going to the tower slowly. You are able to shower but we ask still no sprinkler systems or water lawns and gardens.

Water pressure may be lower than you are used to.

The pump at the treatment plant has failed and we cannot get water to the water tower. We are asking everyone to conserve water. No sprinkler systems, and no unnecessary usages.
We have pumps ordered but they are not scheduled to ship until June. So this may be a long process.

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Heavy wet snow expected. A rain and snow mix may transition to rain on Sunday afternoon before changing back to snow showers Sunday evening. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches south of the North Platte River Valley anticipated in the highest elevations. Winds gusting as high as 70 mph.

Travel should be restricted to emergencies only. If you must travel, have a winter survival kit with you. If you get stranded, stay with your vehicle.
