We want to honor an important transition into winter with a new release on Samhein (also known as Halloween). Time to go deep and do internal work to prepare for next year, time to delve in the shadows and accept our dark nature and inevitable death and dying, let go of what's no longer needed, to truly open up for the light to come.

31/10/21 Jeweled Lotus , previously releasing on our parent label Unfinished Monkey Records will drop his new ethnic deepstep release STAM004 Om in I ep.

The Om in I E.P. is the most complex musical work by Jeweled Lotus to date. Incorporating elements of funk, chill-out, world, and dub with deeply organic and spiritual sound for a uniquely express sound tapestry that provokes ecstatic dance and samadhi. Completed over the spring and summer of 2021.

Jeweled Lotus is also a Holistic Therapist, Meditation, and Qi Gong instructor, Shambala Healing Master, and often provides Cacao Ceremonies as a prelude to his DJ sets and performances. Jeweled Lotus is happy to share this sound journey with your beautiful soul.

“Breathe” is a collection of three instrumental songs that are closely linked to very personal processes, and brought together by the theme of breath. Breathing is a doorway to deeper layers of myself, where I can process unresolved issues, and feel what wants to be felt.

I made Breathing Life for a friend who was going through a difficult period. For years I believed that I put her emotion into this song, as if I could, until I realised it was all my own. The pain, the confusion, the difficulties that were my own, and also the breath and light I needed.

I made Exala when I came back from India, where I played in a band as a percussionist for several weeks. At one point they needed a man's voice and a microphone was placed in front of me. The process that followed was a major challenge because I always had a lot of problems with my own voice. I am eternally grateful to the band for their help and patience, because since then I feel free enough to use my voice in my music.

Breathe and Restore is a live recording during a restorative yoga weekend of Elemental Roots. I close my eyes and breathe, feel the space and the people, and use music as a guidance and anchor for going into silence. In that silence there is a space from which music can come again. I love letting this happen, and it is the most beautiful and purest thing I can offer, both to others and to myself.

On Solstice 21/06/21 We will release a new EP by Belgian sound-wizard Peter Klank. Three very different tracks all involving the topic of breathing.

In Peter's words:
