Our founder this month will be moderating and presenting in the first meet up of Lightup Impact community this year.

Our first online Lightup Impact community meetup in 2023 is fast approaching on Monday, January 30th, 5:30-7:00 pm EAT on zoom!

Community meetups are monthly online gatherings for our community members only. Our grassroots members come together to share & learn from each other as they try to achieve a common goal: increase the impact they create in their communities!

During this meeting, we are excited to launch the first series of Experts Discussions from the Lightup Impact community.

What is the Experts Discussion session?
That's right our member organizations are the experts! Each month we will have a different topic the organizations of Lightup Impact are working on and two founders, experts on the topic, will share their work, learnings, and challenges in order to open a wider discussion with the whole community and get everyone's input. The first topic is Mental Health and our experts are Amisa Rashid and Marlene Kinyua from Nivishe Foundation and Afrikala Art respectively. Please join us to share and learn together!
