Episode 4 could have went on for a while ya'll. There are so many different dynamics and parts in motion when it comes to co-parenting, "Baby momma/Baby daddy" drama, and parent child relationships in general. Moral of our story tonight...Don't be a child. Be a parent. Understand that when a romantic relationship doesn't work out, that doesn't mean destroy a relationship between a parent and a child. That means, it's time to put your big girl panties or your big boy boxers on and work together to put animosities aside and show that child what healthy looks like.

Writing a blog post for Breaking Code Website so that there's relevant content when we finally launch our podcast.

Decided to start with that unwritten code of silence -- Hence the name, Breaking Code.

I'm sure there's many of us who grew up with an unspoken code which was used to preserve a family. Unfortunately, the need to preserve an entire family can come at the expense of another person's life.

While I write this blog, I would be interested to hear experiences from others who remember unwritten rules like this, that helped or hurt the family. I've learned -- from personal and professional experience -- that this code of silence can ensure the survival of a family but that it can also perpetuate generational traumas.

Well, you've found the right podcast to listen to. Coming soon my husband and I will launch a podcast where we talk about things that others have brought to us and even conversations that have left us debating about for hours. Where I take a mental health perspective and that of a "optimistic" person, my husband takes a more realistic approach based on his own experiences growing up. Do we always agree? HELL NO! But we usually help to bring light to other perspectives we may have not considered. And let's face it, we always seem to attract a crowd
