This little muffin may not be fully risen nor looking as palatable but the effort that went into creating it is priceless. This is Manoah’s baking at nursery - his first attempt and I’m super proud for all the ingredients he’s put in there all by himself to create his first MUFFIN. If daddy approves, it settles it, he’s doesn’t need any more validations. Raising a leader and independent child. By the way Manoah’s paternal great grandfather was a cook at a hotel 😘

In the last and final hours of 2023, I reflect on the goodness of God and how much He showed up for me. I saw the Lord at work in my life, like literally. There were low moments for me this year like other years, but certainly I had the most highs that had it not been for the Lord, I would have been swallowed. I thank God for pouring endless love and grace into my life whether it’s the light of each new day or the peace and serenity of the evening.

I am ever so thankful for various aspect of my life that continued to remind me who God is in my life and how empty and meaningless my life would be without God. It is these moments that drew me closer to Him by day for an encounter ever so enlightening. I thank Him for the blessings of family, companionship of friends and fruitful workdays that He makes possible. I thank God for my cheeky son, he fills my heart with so much joy and brought unfathomable fulfilment in my life and he gives me reason to exist and do better each day. When I look at him I see God and reminded constantly that God lives and He loves me.

In the new year, I pray that God will help me maintain gratitude and perfect the posture of my heart, never forgetting His constant care amid life’s small troubles that NOTHING is greater than Him. May I deepen my understanding of His abundant love and mercy for me.

I am grateful for a blessed year I had and looking forward to another blessed year ahead, one that will manifest all the prayers, dreams and wishes God has for me.
