Sept 8, 1230-1400 GMT+8: With Singapore announcing weekly testing for on-site workers yesterday, here’s the chance to interview one of the founding fathers of near-patient (i.e. rapid) testing, Gerald Kost, in a media event taking place tomorrow. With Covid-19 disrupting healthcare delivery, are systems ready in APAC to prioritise patients and give them a more proactive, central role and responsibility? Put your questions to regional experts on the importance of such point-of-care diagnostic testing, patientcare readiness trends and the importance of screening.

Over 200 newsrooms have signed up for World News Day. Has yours? World News Day is a global newsroom campaign to drive public attention to the critical role journalists play in providing reliable news and information in service of humanity.

On September 28, more than 300 newsrooms will unite to highlight the vital role of credible, fact-based journalism in addressing the defining story of our time, the global climate emergency.

World News Day is an opportunity to step back from the news cycle and promote the impact of your journalism — seen through the eyes of your audience and those who have been affected by it — on a truly global scale.

If you'd like to take part and contribute an impactful story around climate change which your newsroom has done, send it in by Sept 8 to global coordinator Alex Jones at [email protected]
