Meet our new team member, Christiana!
Christiana is joining the Sweet LuRae team as a content creator. She will help create reels and posts for our clients and as always, our team will continue to learn what is best for each business owner individually.
Christiana is a wife, boy mom and photographer, she enjoys reading, baking all things sourdough, matcha, rainy days, and finding new non-toxic products to try. She creates content for herself and her business, along with now helping the Sweet LuRae team. She is worship director, and a born and raised Texan and her goal is to homeschool her boys, raise them to love Jesus, and work a job that lets her do that!
Christiana and owner Jessica met through a mutual friend, Micah. We have together assisted Micah with her weddings and have found that we have many of the same passions and interests.

Are you walking down a path someone has laid for you, or one you’ve paved for yourself?
I like to think that I’m walking down the path that God is leading me. With each step and each decision, I try to remember to seek Him.
I’m not perfect. I sometimes look back and think, “man, I didn’t pray about that.”
It takes intentional practice to turn to Him before advice from a friend, parent, or mentor.
Each of us makes decisions the way we feel fit. I hope that I will always look to Him first.
While making decisions in your business, it may not feel natural to ask God what He thinks. I’ve been there. I’ve made decisions thinking it’s what God wants me to do. But I didn’t actually pray. Now, I do. (Or like I said: I try.) Because I’m working on the habit still.
I do know a few things for sure: He wants what’s best for me, He loves me, and He has a good plan for me. And He does for you too!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Currently a junior in high school, Emma enjoys tennis, Jesus, being with family, dogs, flowers, concerts, summer, & learning new things. She has always had a passion for marketing and in college she’s planning on majoring in marketing. She hopes to one day own her own clothing and marketing business.
Emma will be learning from Owner and Lead Strategist of Sweet LuRae, Jessica. She will be gaining insights on marketing and how to strive for individualized content creation for each business.

On Valentine’s Day, I like to simply tell those I love that I love them.
🤍So here I am, posting what may seem like a cliché Valentine’s Day post of a picture with my husband. And it’s an old picture. But I know the exact memory, enjoying an outdoor concert together!
For reals though, I love him for so many reasons. One big one: He has continually supported every business endeavor of mine. I’ve been a makeup and skincare representative, a bakery owner, a boutique owner, and a wedding planner. With each business, he has believed in me and supported me. I love you, Justin.
Now as a Social Media Manager and Content Creator, we are seeing that all of the years of hard work is coming to fruition. There was a reason for it all. I’ve enjoyed serving each of my clients and I thank God daily for being able to be present for both the business owners I work with and my family!

Beauty can be found where you look for it. And beauty is seen differently by everyone.
I found beauty here-in the feelings of history. I love the character of old homes. The patterned floors, the chandeliers, the original windows. And here: the touch of greenery.
We were placed in the day and age we were meant to be placed in. What are we to do with that? There is great meaning behind it all. The will of God.
Ultimately, He wants to love us, for us to love Him, and to share that love with others so that more can come to know Him and love Him. And He can love them.
I'm here to support your business, yes. But ultimately, I hope you always truly feel loved.

I’m Jessica and I’m the owner of Sweet LuRae, a Christian wedding planning business based in Central Texas!

👉🏼Fun fact: she is my sister’s best friend and I’ve known her practically her whole life.
Brooke was able to bring out these smiles in me. Smiles that I can honestly say embarrass me a little bit. I self critique as we all usually do, right?
👉🏼But I have had close friends tell me that when they see these expressions on my face, they see the true me. They see joy.
So I’m turning that self critiquing internal voice into a true compliment.
