We recover. Recovering is an action verb with ups and downs. Whatever it may be you are recovering from...it's ok to share your journey. Addiction. Mental Health. Past Relationships. Financial Stress. Over eating. Whatever you are going through...others can share their journey....

Today we are announcing our second speaker for this weeks Sober Storytelling event and this is the amazing .

“A day without a buzz is a day that never was.” John Regan’s motto from 18-21. After years of self-medicating, DUIs, debt, stomach issues, and fighting the voices in his head, John went cold Turkey after his 3rd DUI at age 28. He’s served in the Army, created a Plant Terrarium business, has performed comedy, created his current job in Property Management/Real Estate and believes there is more than one path to get sober. This weekend John celebrated 19 years alcohol free and is still nutty as heck. Always going to take the scenic way home and practice grace, understanding, and forgiveness at every corner.

And lastly, we have to share what John recently told us, “I actually I’m getting younger, and aging backwards. I can be the best version of myself and shine my light and explore my talents without the influence of Drugs and alcohol” We love to hear it! You can still get tix for this event. Just read my old journals from 2005 and can confirm that 16th of March 2024 will be 19 years alcohol Free. 19 years sober. It’s also my Mom’s Birthday. Took a lot of work, time, help from others, patience, tears, caffeine, mistakes, fines, and humility to even take that first step. Just crazy. Never too late to start over. I have a second life. Thanks for being part of it.
