Granny's Place has a little bit of everything. Sometimes Rita has those bolts or screws that I needed quickly, and it saved me a drive to Commerce or Greenville. Its worth checking out. Also there is a Christmas store next door. Open all year round.

Please note that the board requested a number of changes to the draft at the last meeting as well as insisting that we have the Shore Management Plan available for review before moving forward. This is really important because the Shore Management Plan spells out where retaining walls are required as well as other very important details that need to be considered when setting out regulation around the shoreline of the Lake. It's tough to make good decisions without out. We have some great board members with experience to help guide us through the process. Grateful for all of them.

Community Volunteers: Every 1st Tuesday of the month, Feeding Fannin sets up to provide free food. We have a number of volunteers that come out Feeding Fannin and our community is grateful. Additional volunteers are always welcome. Thank You Feeding Fannin and for all those who support this effort.

Next meeting is scheduled for Saturday July 2nd at 9 AM on the square at the This and That Shop. Public is invited to attend and no membership is required.

On May 31st Ladonia citizens board led by City Councilman Greg Morse presented a petition for the removal of two Lake Ralph Hall Zoning board members, former Mayor Jan Cooper, and former Councilman Todd Akers. Discussion of the matter is on the public agenda for the Commissioners Court being held June 14th at 9 AM.

Ladonia has a new market on the square. It’s being held once a month on the second Saturday. Crafts items, plants, fresh vegetables, and eggs are some of the items that you find.
