Its been morethan a month now from the last post that we shared.

Baby jenna's doctors don't want her to do the liver transplant because she have metastasis in her lungs which we cant do radiation therapy or chemotherapy to remove the metastasis.

Her doctors suggest to do the I.C.E. chemotherapy which she might not get through it even on her first cycle of chemo because she's too small and the tumor might rapture or she might have internal bleeding and the doctors might not be able to stop it. Also, her doctors don't want her to suffer alot which they also suggest to do oral chemo which it will help to stop the tumor from getting big but it will not help to shrink the tumor too, it will stay as it is.

Us parents, its very very hard decision to make because we want our daughter to live a normal life like the other babies out there and we want her to have a long long life.

For now, she's taking oral chemo and taking some herbal medicine that might help like malunggay. it helps her alot and she never did blood transfusion from the time she's taking it. Its been 3 months with no blood transfusion before, she need blood transfusion 2x a week because her hemoglobin always drops to 70 and the normal range is 114.

As of now, she's ok though she have infection and need to take anti biotics, its still due to her condition and oral chemo because she's immuno compromise.

Your prayers are really enough, also please pray that baby jenna will make it once we decide to take the I. C. E chemo.

Our strong baby Jenna Paisley loves her toys specially her dogs stuff toy.

Last july 30 was her check up and her doctors provide options what we can take as the next treatment.
Options are: 1st the I.C.E. or salvage Chemotheraphy which if she'll do this chemo there will be a lot of side effects from brain heart lungs liver and kidneys, there will be a possible 2nd malignancy like lukemia but it will help to shrink the tumor and a possiblity that the tumors in her lungs will be removed too by just having it for 2-3 cycles then she can do liver resection then do chemo again but the successful rate will get low from 70-60% it may go up to 40%.

2nd option would be Liver Transplant which very expensive and it would take 3-4 million, we look for a donor and do a compatibilty test, there will be a possibility also that the new liver may not respond to her body but the successful rate is high around 70-80% and we need to transfer to a private hospital which is The Medical City.

3rd option, Oral chemo which the tumor wont grow bigger but the tumor wont shrink too.

Im already having anxiety because as a mom im really afraid what will happen to my baby but with the help of my husband, family, friends, doctors and especially God we come up to a decision that we will do the liver transplant though its expensive we can always make a way to earn money but my daughter is very very precious to us and i dont want her to see suffer if she'll do chemo again.

We are now waiting for her scheduled check in The Medical City for her liver transplant.

Baby jenna got her 8th cycle of chemo last july 1 and did her ct scan to check if she can do her surgery.

Her chemotheraphy went well like nothing happens. She's very strong baby and she no longer have trauma with her nurses and doctors, she can even say hi and bye sometimes. Also she's such a smart girl she knows how to kiss mommy and daddy, clap and stomp her feet when we say so. Sometimes she knows how to count her fingers.

But sadly, her tumor got bigger from 8cm it become 11cm and she already have pulmonary metastasis which she has 3 tumors in her both lungs, doctors says its because her chemotheraphy was delayed due to covid19.

Her surgeons recommend to do biopsy to check if the tumor will shrink via chemotheraphy or liver transplant because surgeons really cannot remove the tumor since it got bigger.

We really need prayer warriors right now, she will undergo ultrasound guided liver biopsy on monday, july 13. We really hope and pray that she will do great and overcome every treatment that she needs.

Our brave and strong baby Jenna got her 7th chemotheraphy last June 18, 2020. Her scheduled chemo should be on june 12 but since the hospital dont have enough bed due to covid it got delayed.

Her doctors suggest to do chest and whole abdomen ct scan plain and with contrast to check if she's good to do the surgery. She also got tested for her createnine, all good.

Currently, we really need prayer warriors, please pray that her ct scan results will be good, her liver can be operable so she can do the surgery coz if not she need to do another 8 cycles of chemo again before the surgery.

My husband and i are very thankful for all the people who always support our baby and our family, especially for those people who support us financially and spiritually, may God bless you alot and we really hope that you're all safe and healthy. We really appreciate all your help.

Please always pray for our baby girl. We also still need some help from you, we still need to save a lot for her surgery.

Our very strong baby Jenna was home last may 31. She stayed in covid ward for 16 days and been swab tested for three times. Her first swab test was negative but a patient was tested positive which they're on the same room and same nurse, she needs to be tested again. They moved her to another room and did the test

2nd swab results is invalid and doctors cannot tell why, sadly my baby girl needs to be tested and we need to wait for another 3-5days. While waiting for the test results she needs to take anti biotics due to infection growth for 10days.

3rd swab test results are NEGATIVE. for the whole time my baby is negative. Praise God, it may take long time to have the results and it's really hard not be with mommy but God makes her stronger and independent.

She was move to a regular room and after staying there for 2days, she has been transferred to hema and cancer center for her 6th chemo therapy while having her anti biotic. Thanked God she's all well though she has trauma with the nurses and doctors and she always want mommy to be by her side 24hrs a day even mommy needs to wash her bottles she still want her to be carried coz she thought mommy will leave her again and it will never happen again.

Our baby girl is very very strong. She's now playing around again. We're very thankful for all your prayers it really help us to make us stronger as a family and by making our baby stronger everyday. Also thank you to auntie faye and uncle buddy for always giving us a ride. Thank you too for all the people who help us financially. May God bless you alot.

Our very strong baby Jenna is currently admitted here in pcmc at covid ward due to diarrhea, vomiting and got a fever 3days ago. If you have 2 symptoms of covid 19 and you went to a hospital to get treated they will treat you as suspected covid patient. She's a suspected covid patient, right away coz she has diarrhea and fever. They also checked her xray and she has a very small phlegm in her lungs and its acute pneumonia, right away.
Its hard but she needs to stay in covid ward alone, no mommy or daddy allowed only nurses and doctors.
Its her first time that she has no mommy by her side to cuddle her and feed her with breastmilk. Its really hard because she cries a lot when she's not with her mommy. 😭😭😭

But she's getting better and hopefully she will get tested asap but still doctors says they have limited testing kits so we really need to wait and the results will release after 4-5days so no mommy for more than a week. 😭
Here's here photo in er, she needs to be hydrated and we're praying that she'll get better soon. Mommy miss her a lot.

Jenna got her 5th chemotherapy last april 15, 2020 right away. No infections, thank God. It just pretty hard due to covid 19 but God is good everything is ok and she's getting better and stronger everyday, it doesn't look like she's sick but still have trauma to the nurses and doctors.

She still need 3 more chemotherapy to do the surgery and we hope and pray that this covid will stop right away so we can schedule her surgery after her 8 cycles of chemotherapy.

We're very thankful to all the prayers and support.

Last april 1 she did her 4th chemotherapy. It should be her 6th chemo but due to covid, it got delayed. We're still glad that she got her treatment again and she's well.

Please always pray for her, she's fighting and we're happy the she's playing around again. We're thankful for all eho helped us, especially auntie faye for giving us a ride.

We're also praying for all who has covid and frontliners.

Yesterday should be Jenna's scheduled 4th chemotherapy but due to covid-19 Philippine childrens medical center hold their admission and still not sure if she will be admitted next week for chemotherapy.

We're praying and hoping that this covid-19 will end soon, also baby jenna's hemoglobin will not drop and be admitted next week fo her chemotherapy.

Also thank you to Barangay Parang, Marikina ambulance who give us a ride going to PCMC and to Mama Jiji who also give us a ride going home.

Please pray also for all the people who have this virus and for baby jenna so they will get well soon.

Were thankful for all who keep on praying for us specially to baby jenna and for those who give fund for her chemotherapy. We're also pray for all you that God may bless you always.

Done with her 3rd chemotherapy, next week will be her follow up check and her 4th chemotherapy will next next week (no exact date yet).

She's now smiling, laughing and playing again after her 2nd chemotherapy. She gets thinner but still can laugh. We can still see that she's really fighting. She's a strong baby. Still praying and hoping for her recovery.

Her next chemotherapy is on March 2, 2020 and needs to be admitted again.

My niece,Jenna Paisley Suyat,10 months old was diagnosed with hepatoblastoma, a very rare cancerous tumor that starts in the liver, last January. She is the only child of Jermaine Suyat and Nicole Labios Suyat. Her treatment includes chemotheraphy for 6 consecutive weeks , surgery to remove the tumor and for possible liver transplant. We are devastated by the news but we are optimistic that she will get through this with the help of those people who love and support her and of those people who may not know her personally but are blessed with good hearts.
